Customer Reviews
Bought the Pit Boss 700S in Dec and have been using it 2 X week and loving it. I researched for a year waiting for others to buy a pellet grill to hear the pluses and minuses. Best meat I've ever cooked.
It worked great for 3 months. The manual gave one set of directions for shutdown, the inside of the pellet hopper gave a different set of instructions for shutdown. Following the instructions inside the hopper led to the pellets catching fire all the way up to the hopper. The motor quit turning the auger and it hasn't worked since.
Bought 3 months ago love it works great even in MN winter
Should have paid attention to grease collection method. Would have purchased a unit with old style drip bucket. Unit works well, otherwise.
Got the grill before Christmas. Its in the deck, and we've used it through cold and wind and we love it enough to face the weather to cook out. We also cook veggies and bisquits on the shelf.
Instead of replacing a worn out gas grill, I decided to try a pellet grill after my son-in-law bought one (different brand). I've only cooked a couple of racks of spareribs on it so far, but they were the best ribs I've ever had, let alone cooked at home. I like the cast iron grates and the castered wheels that let me roll it around very easily. I'm going to try a brisket on it this weekend, and am confident that it will be delicious too!
I dont liks it its junk used it t times next time it dont work so they send me parts and want me to work on it. What kind of warranty is that
looked like the best value for the money and after use it is proving to be
Got this last grill last fall and Iook forward to cooking on it everyday. Even in our colder weather, it just keeps on performing. Nothing bad to say.
It seems to run hot. Things are reaching temp much faster than they should for Size/temp combo. I have been cooking in very cold outside temps too, so it should be the other way around. I think I need to adjust the "spread" of temps that a certain setting will get you. I have had an issue with it not starting below -10F, but I am a realist and bring it in my kitchen for 10 min and it fires right up...

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
