Grill for home, grill for outings. This grill works well in both settings. Backyard table and you're set at home. For outings it can be placed anywhere. After you're done grilling the vents close well to contain the fire and ashes inside to snuff the fire quickly. The carrying handle/lid holder is one of its best features. I've actually smoked with it and use the lid lock/holder to keep control of the oxygen, which has allowed me do low and slow quite easily for about 8 hours. It won't do much more because of its lack of space to keep ashes inside. The ash catcher does lock in place underneath which is a big plus when transporting. The Weber charcoal baskets do fit inside, although it would be difficult to use more than 1 effectively. Overall, it's like my utility grill. Definitely recommend.

Even though I have larger Weber Grills the 18" s a perfect fit when I am grilling for just my wife and myself. It's a Weber so what else needs to be said...

Jumbo Joe is the most versatile portable grill Weber makes! And it might be in my head but I think it keeps the heat better than other more expensive models. Highly recommend for the compact, portable but still regular size cooking area.

Awesome portable grill that you can take anywhere. The lid holder makes it work for the road and the 18 inch size is more practical than the 14 inch. I knocked off a star because it should come with flip up cooking grates on the sides like the 22 inch. Otherwise, home run!

We were using our Smokey Joe out of our RV instead of our gas grill for just the two of us. (I prefer charcoal to gas anyway.). Was planning to get small Weber Kettle but decided we didn't need to use that much charcoal for 2 burgers. Then I came across the Jumbo Joe. We love it. It's not as deep as the kettle, but still larger than the Smokey Joe. Now we can have people over and have room for more food, or still make small fire for just us 2. Has features of the Kettle but smaller size to be portable and easy to store out of weather. It also has a lid holder, which I love. And of course the heavy gauge metal and quality of a Weber!

not quite up to the weber standard of excellance.ash tray hard to empty. the lid locking handle does not stay attatched very well.and the lid holder doesnt work at all. cooks well, but the grill needs some rethinking. the add on parts just dont function very well.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
