The thermal blanket worked AWESOME. However, now that I've taken it off for the summer, the lid for the barrel is bent out about 1/4" chasing it to leak heat and smoke. So - it's awesome but need to figure out a better way for it to hook the bottom pieces on.

I bought this last year and it has been great beyond belief. Holds the heat and uses less pellets. But....the instructions include "should not be used above 35 deg." This is not a lie. Thought I could use it and use less pellets. Used it at about 55-60 deg. and fire kept going out. After scratching my self and deep in thought I finally figured it out..duh. Held the heat like I wanted, BUT, it called for less pellets soooo the fire would burn out before it called for more pellets. Seems simple, and I hope it saves others the time and headache. I LOVE this product you can't go wrong.

I'm very concerned about the temperature limitations of this blanket? What happens if I use it in temperatures higher than 35 degrees F? I received this as a gift and was very surprised by the tag on the blanket that states your grill warranty is voided if you use it in temperatures over 35 Degrees farenheit. In my area we have many days that hover around the 30 to 40 degree temperatures. I guess I can't grill during these times? In my experience with the grill itself I've noticed wild fluctuation in the cooking temperature well out of the stated range unless grilling on a very hot calm day. I was hoping to use this thermal blanket to help alleviate that issue. I guess I will be limited to using this on only the hottest or coldest of days in my area? Overall it's a pretty good product but very over priced and over hyped

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
