I was disappointed that the enamel on the outside of my kettle started to peel. I contacted customer support to find a possible cause. I was surprised to hear my kettle was still under warranty. ( I've owned it 8 yrs.) Weber replaced the bottom of my kettle free of charge. However, I still haven't been told of a possible cause and my old kettle had 2 handles and the new one only has 1. The second handle makes it easier to move when its hot.

I bought this for my husband's birthday and he loves it. He has the same one in gold I bought him for Father's Day a few years ago that he uses several times a week and for smoking meat. He is happy he can use one for smoking and the new grill for his regular grilling! These grills are high quality and will last you for a long time.

I have been a loyal Weber Kettle Premium Charcoal Grill owner for at least 15 years. I am on my 4th! However, I must say I am disappointed that the cover holder has been eliminated and substituted with a hook inside. This is most inconvenient. Most of the time the hook isn't properly attached to the kettle and with temperatures as high as they are it can get dangerous, I am sorry that I didn't notice the change because I probably wouldn't have purchased this model.

It was time to replace my old Weber 22 inch premium kettle that was 16 years old. I bought a new equivalent model in copper. Very nice finish. Quality seems to be equal to the old grill, should last a long time. Some differences between the old and new version: New version has a thermometer. The hook on the inside of the lid is smaller, making it difficult to hang the lid. The new grills ash collector is harder to remove and reattach.

Love it, I'll never go back to Gas grilling again! Chicken thighs, skin down, Adobo Sazon, Creole seasoning, vents all the way open cover for 35 minutes, open and flip chicken, brush with your favorite barbecue sauce. Let cook for 12 more minutes or until temperature is 170.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
