Staying cool is essential to enjoying your home or business patios, courtyards and decks comfortable and filled with guests during warmer temperatures. The Mist Works 18-inch outdoor-rated fan can be mounted to a wall or ceiling with the included bracket. It can also be post-mounted in areas without overhead coverage or walls using a 3/8-inch lag bolt (not included). Designed for maximum air flow with the optional variable speed motor, this fan works efficiently but quietly. The speed controller is sold separately. The 304 stainless steel prevents the fan from rusting, and the blade is made from 304 stainless as well, for durability. The AL-EX series motor is completely sealed to prevent rain or moisture and is designed for use in normal or extreme environments. It is so easy to install with the included mounting brackets, and it is pre-wired with a grounded cord.

Had this fan for a year and it has been great. FYI...order the variable speed control switch because if not the fan runs at high speed and i do mean high speed, more air movement than you would most likely want most of the time. The variable speed switch is a separate order and the fan just plugs into in.

I looooove stainless steel and this has plenty of it. Built for outdoors and I hung under my eaves. Be sure to get the speed control (not included) as the fan ships on high speed. It is a bit loud at high but it's putting out a significant breeze; not as loud at lower speeds. The motor is wrapped up nicely and it's a true variable speed; you dial in what ever you want as opposed to 3 set speeds. I searched for a true outdoor fan and did not see much out there with all the stainless, which is the only way to go in an outdoor environment. When I don't need a breeze, I run at a very slow speed and it keeps the mosquitos away. Super nice fan and I love it.

Asked by Kedron | Answered by KedronHi Joseph! This fan can cool up to 30 feet (and even further if favored by natural wind). The speed controller is a separate purchase, so it will not come with this product, but fortunately it should already have the variable speed motor installed to the fan.

This fan is outdoor-rated and designed to be installed outdoors as well!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
