Well, it's a grill brush.I prefer the heavy plastic bristled ones but will use this as recommended. So far it works fine. My bigger concern is how to prevent the problem pictured below.

THe handle is too flexible and you can't get any leverage. Should have bought a wooden handle brush.

Bought these before and thought I'd try to save some money and buy another brand. Other brand was about half the price. Well, it was under a quarter the quality. Lasted about 2 cleanings before it was clogged and useless. Weber brushes last me at least a whole grilling season. Guess what I went and bought again.

Recognize that you have to keep grates extra clean to have good cooking results, and your wire brush does the job. Very easy to use. Appears durable.

We've had our new Weber Genesis Grill for two weeks (replaced our 15 year old Genesis) and bought this brush too. I really like that it's designed to be used on a hot grill without damaging the bristles. It cleans the grates very effectively so far. We cook out 2 to 3 times a week (year round) so hopefully this will live up to our expectations.

I purchased this when I purchased the Genesis II S-435 Gas Grill. The grates on this grill are this shaped, and this brush makes cleaning food deposits very easy. I tend to heat the grill to 500 degrees (approx. 10 minutes), then scrape the grill using this brush. I specifically like the long handle - since the grill is hot. :)

This is my second brush of this type in three years. I'm still using the old one to clean the grill, following up with the newer one. The old one still has a bit of life left, and I use it about twice weekly. The rounded edges are very usefull for cleaning between grates. No bristle loss on the old one as far as I can tell. Excellent quality.

I purchased this item because it being wider would save me time. it doesn't clean very well. Part # 6686 works alot better.

It's hard to clean and does not do a good job. I brush then have to brush again with another brush

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
