Glad I purchased this smoker box. I was able to smoke our turkey on the new Weber grill like I used to do on the old grill. Only problem occurred when the wood chops dried, then they caught fire! Lots of smoke then.

I just grilled, on a rotisserie, a turkey. I have had this smoke box for a couple of years and used it off and on, just to play around with it. Tonight I put the full court press on my 14 pound turkey. It took three hours and I filled this up twice. What a great flavor it adde$. BTW, I used hickory wood chips. Next year I'm going to up my game and add a second box.

It doesn't seem to matter the amount of chips or how long soaked, I cannot get this to create consistent smoke on my Genesis II. The box is warped. Lid is difficult to raise when hot.

The smoker worked okay but I expected it to be of higher quality than this was. The corner of the smoker lifted up and has not returned to it's normal shape. I am not impressed with the construction of the smoker.

This is perfect tool for gas grill. Right size, easy to use, little cleanup. Meat gets nice smokey flavor!

I just received a Weber gas grill for Father's Day. I have always use briquettes in the past because I could add apple wood to make the smoke. I wasn't sure if this Smoker Box would work or not because I've always put the wood directly onto the fire. It worked great! I filled it up with cherry wood chips and put the box/chips in the sink for an hour, put it on the side of the grill over a burner that was on high, waited 30 minutes, and then I had a great amount of smoke for about 45 minutes. Perfect! By the way, I was cooking pork ribs and needless to say, there is nothing left but bones.

I used this the first time to smoke a brisket and the holes are too large so the wood burns very quickly with heavy smoke. The top hinges on two pins on the side and jammed open a few times. On top of all this the top actually warped during the 8 hrs low heat smoke!!! Other smoker boxes have a piano hinge and small slits to keep the smoke slow and steady

I'm relatively new to gas grilling. For me, smoking takes a lot of trial and error. It's the part of a gas grill experience that disappoints me. I'll keep trying until I get it right.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
