I bought this on Sunday 7/7/2019 and used it for the first time on Monday 7/8. I followed the instruction and heated up the grill at high for 20 minutes and then put the smoker box in. I cooked chicken and rib at 300F for about an hour. The box deformed and the lid buckled. It remains out of shape after cooling down.

This box is overventillated. I used it twice and threw it in the trash. Instead of smoldering to produce smoke, the box turned into a ball of flames. I'm going back to my old, not so expensive box. This is the first Weber product that I have been disappointed in.

This is a poor substitute to a traditional smoker or a weber non -gas kettle grill which can use wood chunks instead of wood chips. The small smoker box can only handle wood chips and they catch fire too quickly even after soaking for an hour on a Weber gas grill. Better to give up trying to smoke on a gas grill.

I got this as a gift for Christmas from my wife. The chips go up in a flash (or ignite altogether) and the lid hinges gets warped under heat so you either struggle to open it or struggle to close it. It would be less hassle to just buy a dedicated smoker. Maybe it was just mine, but it came with zero instructions on how to use it so you have to go online and even then it is an afterthought on the Weber YouTube channel. No thanks. I will find another use for this thing, but it will not go on my grill again

Works well but after 2 uses, the box bends and the lid wont close properly. Seems like a recurrent issue on the US Weber website. It started changing shape after the first use.

Just bought a new Weber spirit II E310 and this smoker box today. I decided I wanted to try smoking something right away. These are my first ever Weber products. The smoker box warped on the first use and the lid wont shut properly now at all. I had higher hopes. I sure hope the grill holds up better then the box considering how much money I just spent.

I was skeptical about purchasing, as I had seen a few unfavorable reviews, but I decided to give it a shot. I was surprised at how simple this was to use and with how well it worked. I have an older Genesis Silver, and this worked great. I soaked the chips for about 15 mins, put them in the box, put my salmon on the grill, and was very pleased. No complaints.

bought just over a month ago and was excited to use it on a pork tenderloin. the smoking was ok but the cover (lid) became so warped and distorted so it will on sit flat.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
