Things We Love:
The RCS Premier is an affordable all stainless steel gas grill. The exterior is made with 304 stainless steel. The burners are welded stainless steel tubular burners that offer good rust resistance. We also like the sure-strike ignition system with back-up flash-tubes that can be lit with a match in the event of a failure.
Things To Consider:
The warranty is not as strong as similar all stainless steel grills. RCS offers a 10 year warranty on the exterior, grids, and burners but all others parts are covered for only 1 year.
The Premier lacks some options which have become standard on other grills in this price range. Until recently, there was no built-in illumination, which is convenient for evening cooking. The 32-inch and 40-inch models now come with a lighting system if you desire it. The ceramic briquettes are fragile and have a tendency to slide around inside the tray. This could cause some problems when removing the trays for cleaning.
