I received this smoker tube free as part of the tester team. The tube is well made heavy gauge stainless steel. I used it to smoke some pork belly burnt ends. I normally use my pellet smoker for smoking, but this tube let me use my Napoleon. I used Cherry chips and 2 water bowls. The pork came out great. I did notice that the chips burned out quicker than I thought they would, but I had them over a burner that was on full tilt so I could create an indirect heat scenario. I think next time I'll split with two burners on a lower temp and that should allow the chips to last longer. Also, the end cap did not want to come off the tube immediately after I took it off the burner. It needed to cool for a couple minutes before I could get the cap off to reload the chips (metal expansion due to heat?). I'll definitely do this again.
I finally received the smoker pipe and i love it. So easy to use and small enough that it doesn't take up much space on my grill.

I just got the chance to use the Napoleon PRO Stainless Steel Smoker Pipe (#67011) along with Napoleon's Cherry Wood Chips (#67005). When I received the smoker my first thought was "Wow, this is small." However, when I slid it out of the box, I realized that I was holding a professional grade product – beautifully crafted stainless steel with finished edges with well-fitting caps. I use some type of smoke with almost everything I grill. For years I relied on the old metal box that sits on top of the burners and sheds flakes of rusty metal. I felt a little embarrassed placing this stainless steel beauty on the same grill. I don't always soak my wood chips in advance – I often forget or just decide to grill with no advanced planning. Using unsoaked chips is great for burgers or a quick turn at the grill since they come up fast and don't need to last long. Today I was slow cooking a brisket for 5 hours and wanted the staying power. I soaked the chips overnight and was delighted with how long they lasted. I refilled the smoker pipe after about 3 hours and there were still some chips remaining. The smoker pipe produced a nice steady stream of smoke instead of the usually heavy cloud that comes from other smokers once they get going. To refill I just pulled it out with tongs, let it cool several minutes, refilled it and returned it to the grill. I found the smoker top notch – the "Pro" in the name is well deserved. The woodchips performed extremely well and gave off a wonderful fragrance. Our guests even commented on how great the grill smelled. Cleanup was a breeze – just uncap it and shake it out once completely cooled. I has used indirect cooking so there were not drips on the smoker tube but the stainless steel would make it a breeze to clean.

I got this about 6 weeks ago and now I have used it a couple of times. I have a vertical smoker as well but I found this to be a great way to add subtle smoke flavor right off of my grill! Definitely worth the money. Used it for goat chops and some Wagyu steak and just a hint of smoke comes through!
I always wanted to try a smoker tube on my bbq and finally had a chance. The napolean smoker tube was easy it use and fit perfectly in our Napolean freestyle BBQ. We used the cherry wood chips that created a fantastic flavor when we cooked pork chops. Look forward to using it again.
I used the pipe to smoke a steak when cooking it with the reverse sear method. Initially I used wet chips, but this did not work well, so after changing the to dry wood chips it started smoking better. The smoke flavor on the steak was very good, not overwhelming. Thing total smoke time was about 45min and the pipe did not need to be refilled. When you start of smoking put the holes pointing down, this speeds up the smoke process and one does not have to turn the burner high. I also smoked some chicken next day and it turned out better than the steak.
So I've now used the smoker pipe 3 times twice in my pellet smoker to add additional smoke and once in my Napoleon grill for a quick smoke on some steaks. I have to say I've used smoke pipes before but this one from the solid build to having just two rows of holes to allow the pellets to last longer and have consistent flow of smoke. Also the little added feature of being able to close the pipe at both ends a big plus so no pellets falling out. In closing great product going enjoy using makes getting extra smoke a lot easier.

I really enjoy my new BBQ and Smoker. My only question right now is how to keep it clean and shiny ? I'm having a heck of a time to keep the exterior shiny . I dom't know what kind of aluminum it is but it does,nt seem to clean up well. Any suggestions on what to use. I have tried several different things ????

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
