I bought this Vitamix after years of drooling. I moved and was left with a smaller kitchen and needed to choose between a juicer and a blender for my tiny bit of countertop real estate. This was the right choice and worth every penny. I cook quite a bit but really find myself using the Vitamix primarily for making smoothies and soups. What I love most is how smooth a blend I can get. When I make a kale smoothie, the kale is completely pulverized in less than a minute. Not many machines on the market can do that. And when I want silky smooth soup, that's not a problem either. Ideally the machine would be quieter, but it's worth the trade off (and you wont have it on long anyway!). This is by far my favorite appliance.

I reluctantly purchased my beautiful turquoise Vitamix in 2015, It had been on my Wish List for many years but could not justify spending so much money on a blender. After our last average store bought blender broke I decided to invest in a Vitamix. This machine is used 2 - 5 times everyday! I cant tell you how happy I am with this product. I use to place it in our cabinet after each use because I hate having items out on my kitchen counters, but after having to move it so many times a day we just left this beauty out on full display! Easy to use, Easy to clean, makes our smoothies in seconds. If you still have this item on your Wish List- BUY IT. You wont regret it.

This machine does everything they say it will and then some. I have wanted one for years but just did not want to pay the price, well after burning up three others I finally bought one! It is a joy to get up in the morning and make breakfast.

It blends most things smooth. Ice isn't smooth and is always still chunky unless I blend for a long time and then it's watery. Any powders I use are still gritty. Pretty disappointed for how much I paid, honestly.

I purchased the CIA Vitamix Professional for myself at Christmas. I Love the ease of use and the simple clean up. I have made smoothies, soups and pesto thus far. This machine does everything that it promises to do. Follow easy directions for use and create your own recipes. I am not fond of the cook book that came with the machine.

This model is newer than what I used while at The Culinary Institute of America. As a recent graduate, I got this as a gift and couldn't be more pleased. Mostly I have made nut butters in it, which all turned out smooth. Everyone knows that nut butters are one of the most difficult things to make well at home, so this model passed the test! I did end up overheating it a few times to the point that it shut off on its own for self preservation, but I am a professional and use this often. When it over heats I just put the base in front of a fan or even covered outside to cool down. I have been able to use it again after 20 minutes of cooling off. Also, the recipe packet that came with it was enjoyable.

When will my item arrive?

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
