This grill looks great but if you think you are going to slap it in your kitchen counter and grill yourself up some gourmet Ruth Chris like 1.5" thick steaks you are wrong. This grill is way to hot for cooking any meat of real thickness. We use it for hot dogs and prepressed hamburger patties and that is about it. When we first installed it we attempted a few steaks and unless everyone liked them rare it didn't work out. Also we installed the largest insert that Vent-a-hood had and it barely keeps up. Because the thing is so hot, sometimes our hood doesn't keep up and your scrambling to mash the smoke mute detector button. Make sure you have a monster vent system.

Love the low profile (flush on counter versus what I had), removable cover for when not in use, rotisserie carrier if needed, and easy to maintain. When installing, don't forget to for allow access to the grease drip pan 11-12" below the counter.

It has taken me a while to write this review. I don't write many, but felt I had to share my thoughts on this grill. We were remodeling our kitchen in 2016 and wanted to replace our indoor grill. ProFire use to make this grill and this is their new one. They waited a few years to put out a new one. We just loved the old one. We took a leap of faith to buy their new one. As there were no reviews at that time. Our home was built in the late 1970's and the grill was an included feature in new homes back then. Actually, that was one of the reasons we bought this house back in 2003. Fast forward 2020 and our grill doesn't stay lit. We live in California and it is hard to find someone to work on an "indoor" grill. I have contacted ProFire and am determined to get this great grill fixed. They were very helpful. I have ordered a couple of replacement parts. I personally think this was a fluke. As the older one lasted for 35+ years (with regular maintenance). If you love grilling and you have all the right ventilation for an indoor grill this one is definitely one to consider. We are glad we took the leap of faith. :)

I searched for quite a while to find an infrared grill rated for indoors. Just got it installed and grilled for the first time last night. It was perfect. Looking forward to more grilling.

Hello. Indeed it can be converted to natural gas, and in fact it comes with a conversion kit with the necessary hardware to convert it if you wish. Conversion should only be done by a qualified technician in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Please see the manual on the page for more details. When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
