I was fairly certain I would not be able to buy new parts for a well used 25 year old grill. But, not only were they still available but the ease of ordering online was even more impressive for an 82 year old grandmother!

I do grill frequently, even some in the winter, never-the-less, this grate began to rust early and did not last it's 1-year guaranty. Weber did send me a replacement gratis. I should add that my treatment after finishing grilling was to let the grill burn on high for 15 minutes, carbonizing the food residue on the grate, and then when going to use the grill again, brushing off the carbonization off the grate with a stiff plastic brush before turning on the grill. (I used to use a wire brush on a preceding grate of this model (which also did not last), but went to the stiff plastic brush for this one in case the wire brush was removing the coating that is on this model grate.

These are to replace my 2002 Weber Genesis Silver porcelain grates. So far, so good. They fit the grill well and look good. Too soon to tell if they go the distance.

I was replacing an enamel coated grill. The box I received described the contents as an enamel coated grill. But, when I open the box it contained only traditional cast-iron grill.

Time to replace our 5 year old grates and flavorizer bars. Interesting to see another review mentioning grilling on the FLAT surface of the grates which left me confused as I have been grilling on the side that's angled A side up for the last 5 years.....oh well. Great grill.

I like the grates. They are expensive though and I need to see how long they last before I can give them more than 3 stars. Its really to early to give them a full review.. They fit my old Genesis Silver B perfectly.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
