I give it two stars - one extra for the quality, because it will work, but not as originally as it will sit lower in the grill below the internal ridge line that locked in the old 18" grates. After getting a new Spirit II gas grill I read in the manual that the peeling I saw on the charcoal grill wasn't paint but carbon that could be cleaned so I decided to revive the old grill with new charcoal and cooking grates. After cleaning the grill out I put the new grates in and discovered the cooking grate didn't fit as expected. I then tried the old one again and saw that it fit on the internal ridge line while the new one went down below it where the curve the kettle caught it. So it sits lower than the original fit of the grill while the label says it fits 18" grills. Nor is it secure like the original 18" grate which was held in place by the ridge. It is obvious that it will slide up and down within the kettle. Photos attached showing the size and fit difference between new and original.

Weber makes quality grills. We do a lot of grilling and just needed a replacement grate. It's the perfect fit and we're happy to continue using our older grill now.

The first grate lasted 13 years and after 17 years I finally had to replace the cooking grate again on our Weber. We love cooking out in it. This will probably be the last grate I by for it since the next time it will have to be a whole new grill.

Great original grill top......i bought a grill top recently, but it was NOT a Weber original grill top and it did not fit correctly....don't buy imitations!!!

Having used and used and used some more my original grill, I felt it was time to get a new one. Hey even the best metal products give way to stress and heat. So, I went with Weber because I believe in replacing the best with the best.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
