Pit Boss Smokers: Where Innovation Meets Style
Smokers make great additions to any outdoor kitchen, but a Pit Boss smoker will really put you in charge of the next cookout. Whether you’re a BBQ grill expert or a smoking novice, user-friendly controls make these models easy to operate, and their large front windows let you monitor your food even while entertaining your guests. These insulated smokers are engineered to retain heat and control temperatures thanks to their double-walled, cold-rolled steel cabinets with a coating to protect against high heat. They even include an easy to clean, removable water pan near the base of the smoker that can be filled with marinades or other fluids to add moisture and flavor to your pork, poultry, or beef recipe! Pit Boss smokers, which are built vertically to save floor space in your outdoor area, come in three collections: Silver Star, Blue Blazing, and Copperhead.
Pit Boss Electric Smokers
Two of the three Pit Boss smoker series are powered by a 1,650-watt electric element and also feature a pair of fully adjustable damper valves that helps you achieve exact temperatures and airflow. If you like checking the internal temp of your food, these units come with a meat probe that can be stored in a dedicated control panel slot - you'll never have to worry about burning or overcooking your food! With the front-loading wood chip tray, your smoking session can reach up to two hours.
Pit Boss Silver Star Collection
This line of smokers is available in the Silver Star 2 Series and the Silver star 3 Series, both of which measure 21 inches in width. What sets them apart is that the Pit Boss 2 Series has three adjustable racks and 514 square inches of total cooking space, whereas the Pit Boss 3 Series features four racks along with 685 square inches of cooking area.
That’s where the differences end — they both have a digital control panel with a thermometer, can maintain temperatures between 100 and 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and sport a sleek silver color that can blend into your outdoor kitchen. To top it all off, the digital controller has a smoke button that jacks up the heat when you add wood chips and increases the smoke output before you open the smoker door.
Pit Boss Blue Blazing Collection
Much like the Silver Star collection, Blue Blazing smokers have models in the Pit Boss 2 Series and Pit Boss 3 Series. The Blue Blazing 2 series has the following measurements, capabilities, and features:
- 21 inches wide
- 514 square inches of cooking space
- High-end temperature of 350 degrees
- Three adjustable smoking racks
The Blue Blazing 3 Series, meanwhile, has a few slight differences:
- 22 inches in width
- 685 square inches of cooking area
- Temperature can reach 325 degrees
- Four adjustable racks for smoking
With a beautiful and vibrant blue-colored steel exterior, this smoker collection can add a pop to your patio. These models perform well, too, with the help of several innovative features that allow you to control your smoking experience and achieve temperatures as low as 100 degrees. They even come with two rear wheels and a handle that makes portability a breeze.
Pit Boss Pellet Smokers
Pit Boss Copperhead Collection
Pellet smokers are known for being mostly self-operating, and these Pit Boss models live up to that standard of convenience. Made with a striking copper color and hammertone finish, they have an automatic prime function that ignites pellets using a fan-forced draft and 300-watt igniter. You can also take advantage of their 10 temperature presets, start-up and cool-down cycles, and control knob with an external heat indicator on the front panel. Pit Boss Copperhead smokers are outfitted with four swivel caster wheels so you can move them around your outdoor area as needed.
The two series within this collection provide long cooking times for true low-and-slow BBQ. The Copperhead 3 Series pellet smoker, which has four height-adjustable racks and more than 900 square inches of cooking space, can hit up to 18 hours of cook time thanks to its 35-pound capacity hopper. For heavy-duty smoking marathons, the Pit Boss Copperhead 7 Series boasts a 60-pound capacity pellet hopper good for 24 hours of cooking.
