Super easy and evenly cooks!

I have had this for 5+ years. Tried several kinds of meats and woods to create some amazing meals. Very easy to use! Bacon, chicken, brisket, chicken wings, ribs, whatever you want to smoke it is easy to do. The water pan is nice to have so that you don't dry out your selections for long smokes.

Great propane smoker

I just ordered my 2nd Camp Chef Smoke vault, It took me 12 years + to finally wear out my original 24" Smoke Vault. This smoker survived outdoors in the elements of Wisconsin through rain and snow. A couple of advantages to using a Smoke vault propane vs an electric digital smoker is the propane smoker worked flawlessly even in sub zero temperatures in the dead of winter ( electric smokers don't like temps below freezing) and the chip plate is of ample size so you aren't always filling a small tray of chips like you would with a electric digital smoker. Now to see if I can get 12 more years out of my new Camp Chef smoke vault. Thanks

GET this smoker !!!!! i had a nother brand of smoker.

this smoker is the best the only thing is I would go up to a 40 or 45lb tank when you get it all so before using it I would recommend getting some wood-burning stove gaskets that are made to go in the inside of the door seal to keep the smoke in better that and ween you put it together do not rush it will take you 4 hours to put it together I don't have skills with putting it together I had to have my wife help me cause she's better than that then I am. (side note some times I upload to my Instagram for food videos and i am going to start on my tik tok my tic tok is @cocacolaguy845

great smoker

The conversion to natural gas required closing the Venturi air shutter, which was pinned in place set for propane. A Dremel made fast work of freeing the shutter so I could rotate it closed to better balance air/gas. Before I moved it excessive air blew out the flame. Once fixed, the smoker meets all my expectations, and performs beautifully.

Take back your weekends!

I cut my teeth on a traditional charcoal offset. While the food came out great, the babysitting was a lot of work. I love how this unit is basically set it and forget it. If you can get an a-maze-n pellet holder and stick it in there, you don't even have to mess with the wood chips. Thank you Camp Chef for giving me back my Saturdays!

Amazing all around !

Inherited my 24 vault so being second hand has some wear and tear, but after looking around and talking to others who smoke I'm very pleased with this smoker . Electric ones may hold set temp better , but just dont cook or taste the same . Still on LP , but might convert to NG this summer. As for now I can cook around 235deg for an entire day and really not devoured a tank of LP as expected. For first time smokers we love to make own baste and mixes and try new things and the experience with this smoker is absolutely great hands down . Its 30deg outside with snow on ground and we are happy and excited to be smoking today - give idea of how much we enjoy it . Pulled pork and jerky are only two things we have yet to make . Have smoked two meats at same time using wireless thermometers to track temps interal and externally and flavors have not mixed enough to notice . Side by side - dont stack them dont want juices to cross between the meats . When this one dies we are planning on buying a new one exactly same accept maybe a jerky rack ( that would be nice ). Thank you guys and gals for creating this amazing smoker .

Hi William. Trex decking burns slower than regular hardwood but is still flammable. Camp Chef states that this smoker should not be used on any deck.

Hi Cwisicle. A full 20 pound liquid propane tank should provide just under 24-hours of cook time when burning at the highest setting in this smoker.

Hi Champ. This smoker does not have an automatic shut-off for the gas if the flame goes out. It is recommended the smoker be shut off in the event that the odor of unburned gas is detected.

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
