Very Nice, small tweaks could make it exceptional review pt2
Very Nice, small tweaks could make it exceptional review pt2 Part 2 #2 Screws need to be LONGER, 4-5 have no washer used or wouldn't work. 2-3mm #3 No cover, would love to see just a cap for the chimney and something to keep water from possibly getting in the oven door. With all the talk in the manual about how detrimental water can be if it gets in the oven, the only suggestion is the not keep the oven on a tilt, and to keep the door (that has lots of holes mind you) on the front of the oven. I would guess 90% of these ovens are in an open kitchen or deck. Very possible it will have rain blown on it even if it is under a roof or awning not to even consider it being in any proximity to a pool?? Skip the peel and gloves, and give us something that will keep the expensive oven safe from damage. Gloves and peel are off the shelf products, a cover specific to this oven is not. It could be a wood replica of the metal door that can be rotated in after the oven is cool, something better than "Hey! Don't get this thing wet or else!" Finally, the last pet peeve is the peel, great they included one, sucks that it's too short to use the hooks on the oven to hold it. So I will have to buy one anyway, wasted extra... could have been ½ of the much-needed cover. Ok now that I have vented, let me restate that the oven itself is FANTASTIC. Fast Firing, Fast Heating, Low Smoke, Beautiful Workmanship. Let's work on those little details and man it will just jump up to AMAZING.

Very Nice, small tweaks could make it exceptional review pt1
Ok, let me start with, I would give this a 4..5-4.8 but I can't justify 5 so 4 is my only option. The oven is beautiful, CNC machined parts. Thick Stainless materials. Powdercoated Dome, and a nice and heavy brick cooking surface. For the first run, we were up and cooking @ 500 degrees in about 20min. Granted, I was very conservative with the wood the first time and wanted to see how the oven would react. We could have easily got it to the 750-800 if we used a couple more pieces to start. I started with about 5 nice pieces of kiln dried Hickory and then added 3 pieces during the time we were cooking. Temps reached 650 when we added the first extra piece, but Pizza wasn't on the menu for this round so higher wasn't needed. The oven worked great, the smoke was acceptable in the beginning and very low after the initial lighting and temps started climbing over 350ish. The oven seemed like it was burning much cleaner as it got hotter, which is great. Now for the bad stuff, I will go on to say these are not deal breakers in any way. Just observations and room for improvement. I would buy this oven again with no hesitation. Ok, Assembly: The threaded inserts that are used in various locations to allow solid connection between parts ( with the included stainless hardware) are a point of issue with me. While they work great when they work. We did struggle with 4 of them just spinning when we tried to get a screw to take hold. Let me also clarify we used our fingers to pre-thread each screw a few threads before using a tool just to make sure no cross threading was going on. Anyway, we remedied the issue with a punch and some strategic hits where the threaded inserts and the stainless met. This worked for 3 of the 4 issues but one, unfortunately, could not be saved and will forever spin in the wind as I couldn't get it back out nor will it tighten. Let's call it an optional swivel for now. #2 is in relation, screws need to be LONGER, 4-5 no washer used or wouldn't work.

The Skinny:

  • Proudly produced in the USA
  • Quick setup lets you to get cooking faster
  • Cooks pizzas in less than five minutes

Things We Love:

If your belief that pizza ovens can cook only one dish has discouraged you from buying one in the past, Bella pizza ovens will make you reconsider that stance. These models let you cook steak over wood coals, sear food directly on the cooking surface, roast a whole chicken, or even bake bread! For maximum versatility, try dishes that take advantage of cedar planks, paella pans, terracotta baking accessories, or cast iron.

Bella pizza ovens are available in freestanding or countertop configurations, and they come in three separate collections with four different sizes. The smallest is the Bella Medio, which can cook three 12-inch pizzas at once on its 28-inch-by-24-inch surface. Biggest among this line of pizza ovens is the Bella Ultra and its 40-inch-by-28-inch cooking floor that can hold six 12-inch pizzas at a time. There are two mid-level models to choose from: the 32-inch Bella Grande oven that can fit four 12-inch pizzas at once, and the 36-inch Bella Grande oven that can simultaneously accommodate five 12-inch pizzas.

Premium Construction and Style

Bella placed equal emphasis on the durability and design of its pizza ovens, and it shows in every model. Available in eye-catching black or red, these ovens also possess a 304-grade stainless steel dome that looks sleek while providing sturdiness for years to come. The inside might be even better — Bella pizza oven cooking floors are made from real firebrick for authentic taste, and the interior is built to reach temperatures of up to 800 degrees and to maintain that heat for the duration of your cook.

Gets You Cooking Faster

Cooking with a pizza oven doesn’t have to be an all-day process. Bella models have a preheat time of just 15-30 minutes, and their high temperatures can fully cook pizzas in only two minutes! They also use less wood than traditional brick ovens and are excellent at heat control thanks to their high-grade ceramic cooking floors. Perhaps the best feature of these pizza ovens is that they don’t need to be cured, which is a process than can take hours or even days. You can install them in about an hour and have delicious, authentic pizza in even less time!

Things To Consider:

Keep in mind that Bella pizza ovens are designed for outdoor use only and cannot be operated indoors. Each oven comes with a convenient starter tool kit that includes both wood and stainless steel pizza peels along with grill gloves. Bella offers a two-year warranty for the oven body, floor, venting system, factory-installed finishes, stand, door, and accessories. The internal dome welds, however, carry a five-year warranty. Should you have any questions about how a Bella pizza oven can enhance your outdoor space, our experts are standing by at 1-877-743-2269!

When Will My Item Arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3–5 business days. If your item or order is large, it may ship via one of our third-party freight carriers, which deliver from semi trucks with lift gates. Freight delivery is much more complicated than standard parcel shipping — you must schedule a drop-off time, be present for the delivery, and move items from the curb to your residence, among other differences. Sound stressful? If you prepare in advance with our guide to freight delivery, it doesn’t have to be.

We strongly encourage reading the entire freight delivery guide, but here’s a quick snapshot of what you need to be ready for when you order a large package:

  • Your freight carrier will call you to schedule a delivery window of about 4–8 hours
  • You’re required to be physically present at the specified delivery location during the scheduled window
  • Freight shipments are carried in semi trucks, which have lift gates to assist with unloading
  • Freight deliveries are dropped off at the curb and no further — not up the driveway, not the porch, not the garage, and most definitely not the backyard — so it’s on you to transport packages to their intended location
  • For an easier time hauling items to your home or backyard, arrange for at least 2 helpers to be on standby during your delivery window
  • You must sign for the shipment to indicate that you’ve accepted the delivery

Again, we recommend reading our entire breakdown of freight delivery so you can become familiar with the process. Trust us when we say that getting caught off guard with the strict requirements of freight delivery can lead to a whole lot of headaches.

No Restocking Fee

Most companies charge a restocking fee. We just don't do business that way.

Message to our customers: Like all retailers and manufacturers, we’re currently experiencing well-publicized supply-chain issues and steel shortages that have caused some orders to be delayed. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences arising from this situation, and we assure you we’re making every effort to solve these problems with our vendors and logistical partners.

So, why are some orders being affected? Major ports around the world are still operating at reduced capacity because of COVID-19 restrictions — on average, container boats sit at port for about 3 weeks before being unloaded. Combine these shipping inefficiencies with a scarcity of natural resources, and virtually every industry has been crippled to some degree. Yet we acknowledge that it’s our duty to meet these challenges head-on and work toward solutions so you can enjoy more time outdoors with the people you love. We appreciate your patience as we strive to smooth out our supply chain, and we thank you for choosing us for your grilling and outdoor living needs.
