Gorgeous at night
The product comes with an extra 2"x3" plate with holes in it that match the holes in the pan used for water drainage I was told. I believe holes are also for disbursement of propane gas if used. They recommend 20 lbs of fire rock. The pit will only hold 10 lbs. The pit with Lakeview Outdoor Designs 1/2-Inch Blue-Jay Reflective Fire Glass is gorgeous.

Does the propane need to be connected the entire time while running or can you fill, disconnect and light?
Was This Helpful?

Thanks for asking, Chuck. The gas line needs to stay open and connected for the flame to stay lit.

Question:
Can you tell me the weight of this product? Please indicate if that is with or without the stones.
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Lori! The shipping weight of this item is a little over 8 pounds if that helps. It is sold without fire glass, which is available for purchase separately.

Question:
Is the propane connector on the bottom or side? In other words, must the fire pit sit directly over the umbrella hole of an outdoor table?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Carol! Yes, the gas connection is on the bottom of this fire pit.

Question:
Does this use the small camping propane tanks? I would like to make sure this is what will work for a wrought iron patio table. Thanks
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Cindy! Choose propane as your fuel type when purchasing and it will come with the conversion kit to be able to use propane. The small camping propane tanks would not last very long, maybe an hour. I would recommend using a larger 20lb propane tank that would last about 12 hours. Hope this helps!

Question:
How do you regulate the flame?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Caren! The only way to regulate the flame is dependent on how much gas you're allowing to flow from the propane or natural gas tank this is hooked up to. The more gas flow, the more intense the flame!

Question:
where does the propane connect to the unit?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Angela! The propane line should be connected to the bottom of this fire pit. There will be a nozzle sticking out just enough to be connected to without issue and still allow for easy placement.

Question:
How hot does the surrounding medal get? Can it be used on a wood table?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Jodi. The surfaces on this fire feature can reach high temperatures over time, it should not be installed on or near any flammable materials.

Question:
Where does the tank go? Is it the kind you need a hole in your table for?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Hannah. The tank is separate from the burner. You would most likely need hole in your table for the hose to connect, as the connection is at the bottom of the burner.

Question:
I'm just a single woman and have no idea who to call to install this, what kind of professional would I call?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Kimberly. You would want to call a plumber or professional gasfitter. Remember, a plumber works on pipes, not toilets.

When Will My Item Arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3–5 business days. If your item or order is large, it may ship via one of our third-party freight carriers, which deliver from semi trucks with lift gates. Freight delivery is much more complicated than standard parcel shipping — you must schedule a drop-off time, be present for the delivery, and move items from the curb to your residence, among other differences. Sound stressful? If you prepare in advance with our guide to freight delivery, it doesn’t have to be.

We strongly encourage reading the entire freight delivery guide, but here’s a quick snapshot of what you need to be ready for when you order a large package:

  • Your freight carrier will call you to schedule a delivery window of about 4–8 hours
  • You’re required to be physically present at the specified delivery location during the scheduled window
  • Freight shipments are carried in semi trucks, which have lift gates to assist with unloading
  • Freight deliveries are dropped off at the curb and no further — not up the driveway, not the porch, not the garage, and most definitely not the backyard — so it’s on you to transport packages to their intended location
  • For an easier time hauling items to your home or backyard, arrange for at least 2 helpers to be on standby during your delivery window
  • You must sign for the shipment to indicate that you’ve accepted the delivery

Again, we recommend reading our entire breakdown of freight delivery so you can become familiar with the process. Trust us when we say that getting caught off guard with the strict requirements of freight delivery can lead to a whole lot of headaches.

No Restocking Fee

Most companies charge a restocking fee. We just don't do business that way.

Message to our customers: Like all retailers and manufacturers, we’re currently experiencing well-publicized supply-chain issues and steel shortages that have caused some orders to be delayed. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences arising from this situation, and we assure you we’re making every effort to solve these problems with our vendors and logistical partners.

So, why are some orders being affected? Major ports around the world are still operating at reduced capacity because of COVID-19 restrictions — on average, container boats sit at port for about 3 weeks before being unloaded. Combine these shipping inefficiencies with a scarcity of natural resources, and virtually every industry has been crippled to some degree. Yet we acknowledge that it’s our duty to meet these challenges head-on and work toward solutions so you can enjoy more time outdoors with the people you love. We appreciate your patience as we strive to smooth out our supply chain, and we thank you for choosing us for your grilling and outdoor living needs.
