Outdoor Fans & Cooling

Outdoor Cooling Systems

Part of outdoor living is dealing with the heat, which on its worst days can make it tough to enjoy your outdoor area. But at BBQGuys®, we believe there’s no reason your patio shouldn’t be just as comfortable as your indoor entertaining space! That’s why we offer a wide variety of patio cooling options that will allow you to enjoy your outdoor space on a year-round basis. Whether you’re starting an outdoor kitchen from scratch or simply need to cool your existing patio, let BBQGuys® help you create cool breezes designed to breathe new life into your outdoor area.

Deck Fans

Outdoor cooling fans are the most common and effective way to circulate air in your outdoor space, and we carry ceiling fans ranging between 18 inches and 12 feet. Though ceiling fans are great at spreading air, they don’t help much when you’re standing over a hot grill. Grillmasters should try high-velocity standing fans or wall-mounted fans to get an extra-strong breeze when the flames are up and the food is cooking. If that doesn’t cut it, consider adding a misting fan to your outdoor kitchen. These deck fans incorporate a thin spray of water into a powerful breeze to ensure you stay cool even when everything else is hot.

Evaporative Air Coolers

These outdoor cooling systems are the best option for those who really want to beat the heat. Evaporative air coolers take in hot air and pass it through a wet filter, which cools the air before it gets blown back out. Because of this cooling method, you must meet a minimum 2-foot clearance around the unit to ensure it has a constant air supply and doesn’t recirculate air it has already cooled. We measure the effectiveness of evaporative air coolers in cubic feet of air moved per second (CFM) as well as the max square footage the unit can cool.
