Lifetime Warranty

Mont Alpi offers a limited lifetime warranty under which 100 percent of the cost of the stainless steel roasting hood will be covered for fifteen (15) years, the stainless steel cooking grids for fifteen (15) years, the stainless steel tubular burners for five (5) years, the stainless steel firebox for two (2) years, and the electronics for one (1) year. After the stated period the owner will cover 45 percent of the list price for the part required.

Beautiful: well-designed, and well-constructed

I ordered this grill from bbqguys a few months ago. I am really impressed. When the grill arrived, it was packaged thoughtfully and there was no damage. It was easy to unload, and easy to install (assembly/attachment of just a few big island pieces). We did the propane to natural gas conversion using the manufacturer's instructions and the youtube video, and it was fairly straightforward even for someone who is not super handy with tools. Be sure to call Mont Alpi directly for the propane conversion kit (hoses, regulator) if you do this. The grill itself is very well designed and constructed, the materials and finishes are all high quality. It is beautiful. This grill is well worth the money. Both BBQ guys and Mont Alpi had great customer service throughout and answered questions quickly and completely.

Hi Michelle. The back of the Mont Alpi 805 Deluxe is completed with the same materials as the front, with the addition of openings for venting escaped gases and air circulation. The sides are covered with the composite granite like the counter tops.

What kind of hookup does the sink require for drainage? Does it drain into a bucket of some sort or can it be hooked up to a waste water line? Is the faucet replaceable after the fact? We would want to replace the provided faucet with a pull out faucet for exampe.

Hi, AK. The sink in the Beverage Center can drain into a bucket, or be attached to a standard sewage system. Also, the faucet can be replaced.

Question:
Does the sink and faucet take hot and cold water or just cold? What needs to be on a wall behind the unit to make safe? We have cedar siding, so will corrugated steel do the trick? Can you conform the side burner would be good for boiling pasta or deep frying fish in pan as well as searing meat?

Hi, Mel. The Mont Alpi faucet is only cold water. The manual lists the minimum clearance to combustibles behind the grill as 36 inches. Unfortunately, corrugated steel installed over the siding will not mitigate that clearance. The side burner is rated at 13,000 BTU and may be too low powered for boiling or frying.

Is the entire set able to be installed against a white stucco wall? Also can the entire set be placed on the ground completely or lowered in order to avoid seeing the wheels after the installation?

Hi Albert. Clearances of at least 24” from the sides and 36" from the back of the grill to combustible materials should always be maintained. Additionally, you will want 6-8 inches of space for ventilation and for the lid to fully open, if it is against a non-combustible wall. The wheels can be removed so that it sits flat on the ground.

Hi Carlos. On this model, which uses propane, the side and rear burners are 12,000 BTUs. When running NG, the rear burner is 12,000 BTUs and the side burner is 14,000 BTUs.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
