Perfect size

I grill at least three times a week. Summer winter spring and fall. I may not shovel snow from my front walk but I always shovel a path to my grill. This is the perfect size for my space and needs It has a push button start and I can operate one side or two. Love my new grill !!

great grill, excellent service

arrived quickly, excellent grill - I'd been hunting for a specific size due to location on existing deck, the customer rep was very helpful and went out of his way to confirm the dimensions with the vendor.

I am very satisfied with our grill. The only problem was getting someone to install the gas line. He did a great job and grilling away.

indestructable

After using my grill in my house for 6 years-I was forced to rent out my house due to the economy for 2 years. My tenant destroyed everything in the house and really tried to destroy my mhp 48000 btu grill. Even had a tree growing in it.I had to smoke out a bee hive in the base. After a 5 hour cleanup that included some pressure washing-It came back all the way to new.Still works and cooks even just like bran new.Great stainless steel grate and great choice of brass and steel fittings.Even the grill rocks are the very best and the side burners igniter still worked after 9 years.I.m a chef and owned a few restaurants.Great stuff for the house!! REALLY!

Question:
I current have a Kenmore natural gas grill that is deck mounted. can I use the base and post to mount the JNR4dd on that base and post? The grill is about 45 years old.
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi, Joe. It depends on who manufactured the grill for Sears Kenmore. As long as the mounting lines up, the post would not need to be replace. But after 45 years, it might not be a bad idea to replace it.

Question:
We are planning a new concrete patio very soon. I am needing to figure the best timing of placement of a natural gas MHP JNR4DD post permanently placed. Are they placed in the ground alongside or on the concrete? Are there recommendations for distance from the brick house or screened in porch nearby?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Kristi, we recommend placing any grill at least 3 feet away from any building, especially homes, to avoid irreparable damage. The post for this model also needs to be built in ground, but can also be built in to concrete.

Question:
For the propane version, can I use a small refillable rhino type tank? If so do you offer any mounting provisions to the grille post or pedestal? I live in Myrtle Beach and only have electricity, no NG. I would like to permanently mount the grill in the back yard, on the post or pedestal.
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Dave! This grill in the propane version requires a standard 20 pound propane tank. The in ground post will work with the propane version.

Question:
Hi. I wrote a couple of days ago. No response. I have a 42 inch width to work with. Will this bbq fit with the shelve up? Any other suggestions?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Roy! The overall grill width, with the shelf up, is 37 2/5 Inches, so you should have a few inches of wiggle room to work with.

Question:
Hello, I currently have installed a PGS K-30 model grill on a post that is affixed into our patio stone. This grill needs significant work and our desire is to replace our current grill with, hopefully, the MHP JNR4DD. I need to know if this model grill can use the currently installed K-30 post that is already firmly anchored in our stone. There is no way I will be replacing the post and am looking for a similar grill to replace ours using the existing post. Thank you, Don
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Don! The PGS K-30 post was designed specifically for that model grill, so we can't guarantee that the post is a satisfactory fit for the MHP JNR4DD. We understand not wanting to remove the post, so if you would please give us a call at 877-743-2269 we can help you order a replacement PGS K-30 model or find one of similar make.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We’ll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.

30-Day Returns

No Restocking Fee

Most companies charge a restocking fee. We just don't do business that way.

Message to our customers: Like all retailers and manufacturers, we’re currently experiencing well-publicized supply-chain issues and steel shortages that have caused some orders to be delayed. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences arising from this situation, and we assure you we’re making every effort to solve these problems with our vendors and logistical partners.

So, why are some orders being affected? Major ports around the world are still operating at reduced capacity because of COVID-19 restrictions — on average, container boats sit at port for about 3 weeks before being unloaded. Combine these shipping inefficiencies with a scarcity of natural resources, and virtually every industry has been crippled to some degree. Yet we acknowledge that it’s our duty to meet these challenges head-on and work toward solutions so you can enjoy more time outdoors with the people you love. We appreciate your patience as we strive to smooth out our supply chain, and we thank you for choosing us for your grilling and outdoor living needs.
