By introducing the first high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) fan in 1998, MacroAir created a design which produces a comfortable climate in a more cost effective, energy efficient way compared to traditional fans and HVAC systems. HVLS technology is based on the principle that uses a NASA-engineered wing design and an advanced blade-angle pattern to dramatically increase efficiency. MacroAir 6ixBlade fans create the same air movement as ten blades, but with less stress on the motor. Utilizing a break-through technology called D-Drive, MacroAir eliminates the bulky, heavy and noisy gearbox traditionally needed to drive a fan this size. Now you are able to experience 75 percent more wind power than the competition and only hear the breeze itself! MacroAir fans lower the effective temperature by up to 8 degrees. During the winter, you can use your fan in reverse in order to draw the warm air from the roof down to the floor. You will be able to control the fan with the included digital touchpad wall controller with the touch of a finger. AirVolution-D provides a simplified mounting system making installation safer, easier and faster. All airfoil blades are constructed of aluminum and anodized to prevent corrosion. These fans are outdoor rated and will create a more comfortable environment for you and your family to enjoy.
