Lynx NapoliI have had this oven (LPG version on the cart) for about 3 months. I use it two or three days a week. I am happy with it overall but it isn't perfect . . . PROS 1) Temperature is very consistent across surface area. 2) Drawer slide out is very cool and definitely a conversation starter. 3) Blue LED's look great and oven is well lit inside. 4) Very nice looking unit. CONS 1) The highest temperature I can achieve, according to the provided gage, is slightly over 650 degrees F. This is after heating for more than an hour. Lynx service basically told me this is normal (?). 2) Workmanship is not great. Examples: Knob markings crooked, cut out for drawer has rough edges (e.g., should have been filed at the factory), Left knob crooked (bent appearance). Right knob flush; left knob stuck out. Note: Lynx fixed these issues under warranty but the technician scratched the stainless in a few places when doing the repairs/adjustment. I have been informed that Lynx moved its factory from California to another state and most trained employees did not move to the new location. These workmanship issues are probably temporary but it is still not a great experience for the consumer - especially for such a high priced item. 3) There is no thermostat and no way to "set" the temperature like a regular indoor oven. While temperature is consistent and repeatable it takes some practice to dial in the correct knob positions to achieve different temperatures depending on the type of food being cooked. Poor qualityPurchased with the kitchen cart. First time used it the drawer did not slide in. I figured out that the screws on the track and screws that hold wheels in place were loose. After tightening it - it now closes but the wheels still rub screws on track when open and close. When turn control knobs to medium and low on both burners - the flame goes out. One control knob is flush with face of unit - other control knob sticks out 1/2 inch from unit. Small rust spot on curved opening. I received the unit August 2020. Lynx customer service is brutal. After 3 weeks of the Lynx service rep (Tony) never calling back the dealer, I called Lynx directly. They first set up an appointment with appliance repair that doesn't work on barbecues. The second one they are now sending has never worked on Lynx products. I would avoid. Product quality very poor / Lynx customer service equally as poor. Its temperature ranges between 300-750 degrees Fahrenheit, but you’ll want to target a 700-degree preheat for pizzas. Speaking of pizzas, this model can fit a pizza as large as 18 inches on its 400 square foot cooking surface. Rather than the direct flame burners found in traditional pizza ovens, this Lynx unit has side-positioned infrared burners that boast 40,000 BTUs. The infrared heat they produce is expertly trapped inside the dome-shaped interior made of refractory material, ensuring the oven retains as much heat as possible while cooking.
