I have had my big joe for about 2 years now and have had no issuesat all. Everythingstillworks as it should. I use it a few times a week. You can literally do anything with this kamado. Its a beast.

I originally purchased the KJ Classic 2 with hope of being able to continue grilling during our Chicagoland winters… it has since relegated my gas grill to vegetables and hotdogs for the youngsters of the extended family. By far the best, most used product (2-4 times per week) I have ever purchased! Not only would I recommend a Kamado Joe, i sold one at my local store ( I was simply grabbing some more Big Block charcoal) due to my enthusiasm while talking with another customer who was interested, but unsure.

I owned a Webber Summit S-670 for close to 10 years a grilled several days weekly all year around. Once I purchased the Kamado Joe Big Joe , I did not want to use the Summit grill. After 11 months I gave my Webber Summit to my son. I smoke all kinds of foods , reverse sear steaks cook burgers etc. This Kamado style grill is the best I have seen in my life. I just retired after 31 years in the food service industry so I know food and cooking methods. Don't let life slip by without trying Kamado Joe !

Best purchase, even 3 years later. We got it to enhance some family favorites and get us outside more, but what we weren't ready for is how this has challenged us all to learn and practice things outside our comfort zone. Whole chickens, ribs, even did a pizza night the kids. We love going outside 10x more and having so much fun. The way it holds its heat, maintains quality, and becomes a talking point at parties is just icing on the cake. More than a grill. 5 stars

Love cooking on my KJ. It's very versatile. Also I had to make a warranty claim and KJ was quick to respond and correct my issue. That means a lot and I'll be a KJ fan for life.

As far as ribs go, you may be able to fit 3 racks of St. Louis style pork ribs cut in half at a time, but it would be tight. If you do plan on putting ribs on the Classic II, you may want to consider getting a rib rack, that way you ribs sit on their sides and can be placed closer together. When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
