I had high hopes for this Cuisinart bread machine since my daughter had selected it on her wedding registry and I was not happy with my last one, a Zojirushi. First, the size of the machine/its footprint is larger than expected, particularly given the small, more vertical baking pan. Perhaps most of the guts of the machine are the technology. with regard to technology, I think there are some basic design flaws period for one, it is very hard to snap the baking pan into the machine and make sure it is secure. on many occasions when I thought it was, I heard the machine making incredible noise and noticed that the pan was at an angle and had not been snapped in. The metallic finish is already wearing off near the bottom blade on the outside of the baking pan and bottom of the machine where the pan fits in to the housing, from trying to push it into place. IT takes many tries to fit the pan correctly into the housing and then a very hard push to snap it into place. Another negative about this machine is it is extremely noisy when mixing. While the alerts are helpful for mixing in ingredients and removing the blade, a countdown digital timer to those events would be a lot more helpful. Unless you are present in the house or nearby, you will miss the opportunity to add ingredients or remove the blade and you have no idea how many minutes until the alerts will sound. Now for the quality of the bread. Meh. Perhaps it's a learning curve but I have yet to have a bread come out that actually looks like the pictures. The tops are all sunken. It is also hard to measure the ingredients to the exact specifications in the recipe book, which are often fractions of teaspoons. I'm still hopeful that over time I will get past the mechanical design flaws and adapt to the recipes and measurements, and come out with flawless looking bread with a nice puffy top.

I love this breadmaker, I have had it over 2 years now and I use it at least once a month to make pizza dough and many times to make bread and it is just a wonderful appliance to have in my kitchen!

Crust is almost burnt lower half of bread, no matter what cycle you choose/ tried different breads all same results.

Easy to use and produces a great loaf. The only problem I have is with the timing of the knead and rise cycles. It's hard to tell when to take out the loaf if you want to finish it in your own pan or in the case of a baguette, on a sheet.

The settings for darkness of bread is useless because even the light setting is between medium & dark. Otherwise the bread maker works excellent!

I love my cuisinart bread maker, the only Issue I have is that the machine gets very hot to the touch. I guess this can be checked and put more isolation ! Just suggesting

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
