I returned this bread maker because I didn't like that it kneaded the dough for 35 +/- minutes...... that's much too long...... I tried a couple of recipes and the excessive kneading made for a tough texture in the dough and finished product. ..... and, I'm not new to making bread, rolls, etc.

I did a lot of research and comparing of bread machines. This one was rated #1 on the top 10 of 2020. I have made three loaves so far and no problem as yet. Great features and easy to operate. I just wish the control panel lit up. Lets see how it holds up over time. Note: Buy a warranty if it is offered.

The only improvement this machine has over bread machines 15 years ago is that there are more options. With that being said, this machine doesn't mix the dough well, requiring human intervention to completely mix it. It is unusually loud. It burns the crust no matter what setting is used. The bread sticks to the pan unless oil is used in the recipe. I have had to scrape up the pan trying to get the bread out. The recipes that come with it are horrible; much better recipes on the Internet. I trusted the Cuisinart name, but I was fooled with this. I really don't have anything good to say about it other than it functions and I don't have to spend a lot of effort on kneading dough.

I have made about 5 loaves of bread so far. Every one has came out excellent and I have had no problems with the equipment. I do think that I would have liked the loaf pan more horizontal than vertical.

This is our second Cuisineart Convection Bread Maker. Our first lasted for more than 10 years and was used weekly. We use it mostly to mix the bread and let it rise and then usually remove it, braid it and let it rise the second time manually. Makes great bread (although perfecting your own recipe remains very important). I reviewed the current bread makers available and opted to stick with the success we have had with Cuisineart!

Positive: consistent results, easy to use, multiple programs. Negative: even on "light" setting, crust is medium. When in operation, the breadmaker is fairly noisy.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
