Customer Reviews
My 4th recteq have a 680 and 2 700 wanted something a little bigger but not as big as the BFG. Haven't used it yet but I'm sure I will love it .
I have had my Recteq Flagship XL 1400 a couple of months now and grilled multiple times with very good results. The temps hold true and I can easily monitor issuing the app. The app also make it very easy to change temp, set timers, etc... Very happy with purchase. I have a big family so the big 1400 was a great choice.
Let's cut straight to the point: it was easy to set up, easy to break in, and started producing unreal meat from the first cook. Did the recommended chicken thighs cook after break in, and they were juicier than what I get from my Webber gas grill. Cleanup was easier than my old PitBoss, and I immediately cooked again for the 4th of July. The pork shoulder and baby back ribs came out perfect. Barely had any leftovers because people just ate and ate. Even the picky kids liked it. Next up is some salmon, then the granddaddy: a brisket. If you've ever hesitated because of the price, just do yourself a favor and buy a Bull now. Stop messing with the lesser ones because €œthey cook just fine€. Sure they do, but this thing is just flat out better. Financing with Affirm was a breeze, and hands down the best purchase I've ever made for cooking
It's a fantastic smoker!!! Easy to use!
Waited over a year to purchase my recteq. Looking at options and window shopping smokers. So far it has been amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to make some top notch groceries.

My first impressions of this smoker are great. Assembly was straightforward and everything seems well built. After doing a software update it has been spot on with whatever temp I set it at. I have produced plenty of great food off of this smoker and I'm still loving it. The only thing I would mention worth upgrading is the size of the drip can. It seems quite undersized for the size smoker it is. This is very minimal, but something that I think is worth at least mentioning.

Wow! Best darn smoker I have ever owned, hands down! This is my first pellet grill and what a doozy! Once seasoned , I threw on some chicken thighs, results were excellent. Next day I threw on some burgers and dogs, results were excellent! The next day, (July 4th) was the usual butts and ribs. The ribs were falling off the bone and the butts were absolutely delicious. No complaints so far!!
i think it is great a little costly but see how it does in the long run

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
