I bought this grid 6 years ago and still going strong. I prefer cast iron over stainless, i find it transfers heat better. As long as i season regularly they work well. As expected with iron, it could rust if not coated/seasoned.

Bought this Barbecue about 2 -3 yrs ago We seasoned it before we even cooked on it, and every year since, last summer noticed it starting to rust so I seasoned it after each use.I got it out of the garage this spring and the grates are so rusty and flaky, they are unuseable. I've owned cheaper products in the past who have never rusted as badly as this and lasted a lot longer, Would not recommend this product.

We purchased this bbq less than 2 years ago and the cooking grids are now not safe to use.

I have had this unit for 3 years and the iron grills are rusted and flaking to the point that they are no longer useable.I have never had a BBQ that grills deteriorated so quickly.It has always been covered and regularly seasoned.Other than that it has been a good BBQ.

I bought my Signet a few yrs ago but within a few months the grills begin to rust and chip. They have gotten so bad that I'm concerned to cook on them now out of fear of a piece of rust getting on my food

I've had the signet for 6 years now and its a great BBQ but the grids are the worst. Why make a product that you have to maintain all the time where you can just fit it with stainless steel and there is no maintenance at all for the grids. That also goes for the rest of the units inside as well. For example the flavr waves and burners should be made out of stainless as well and you would have a awesome BBQ.

No matter what I do, these grids rust and crack. I have my Signet for 2 years, so it will be my 3d summer with it. I use it year round and season the grids. Been through 2 sets of grids so far...bought my third today and getting tired of it. Despite that, I'm really satisfied with my Signet and hope to keep it for a good number of years. I maintain it very well too.

We bought the Broil king about 3 years ago and are happy with the BBQ results. However, already in the first year I noticed rust and now the paint flakes off in big chunks. Smaller chunks stick to the meat and my girl ate some of it accidentally yesterday!

Grids started rusting after a few weeks and re-seasoned them but just got worse. I've had the grill for a couple summers now and it has large slabs of rust flaking off. I like the grill but the cast iron grids suck.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
