Going Rogue has Never Tasted So Good
Napoleon put a great deal of thought into designing their Rogue series of gas grills. They packed performance into an eye-catching form and created freestanding grills with carts that are more than just a stand for a grill.
Phantom Matte Black Finished Surfaces
If you dont want to be like everybody else on the block with a shiny silver-ish grill, Napoleons Phantom Rogue SE 425 RSIB Propane Grill offers edgy styling with luxurious, silky black matte finishes. Napoleon refers to it as low-key luxury, but it's more than just a look these grills offer high performance AND high styling!
Infrared Rear Rotisserie Burner
Perfect for high heat searing and slow spit roasting for succulent roasted meals. (Rotisserie kit sold separately)
Large Infrared Sizzle Zone™ Side Burner
Get the perfect steakhouse-quality sear! The Phantom Rogue SE 425 RSIB's IR side burner is more efficient and gets much hotter (up to 1,800 degrees F!) than a conventional burner, giving it the power to quickly sear meat and deliver the much-desired caramelized crust, sealing in flavor and juices. With an infrared burner, you're actually cooking with the power of light energy.
3 Stainless Steel Burners
Burners are the heart of any gas grill. Napoleon's 16-gauge premium 304 stainless steel burner tubes are reinforced and feature an industry-leading design that provides proven longevity, performance, and efficiency. Complete combustion is the key, and these burners balance fuel and oxygen to generate a clean burn. Dual gas ports on the top and sides of each burner ensure even heating along the burner and produced fewer flare-ups.
Instant JETFIRE™ Ignition
If a grill doesn't reliably light, it's not a reliable grill. Napoleon's Instant JETFIRE ignition lights the first time, every time. The design sends a jet of flame to light each burner individually. You can light your grill with the twist of your writs. Batteries not required! With cross-lighting burners, in the unlikely event that a burner goes out or fails to light, it automatically relights. There's a cross-light bracket between burners that passes flame to the unlit burner, assuring safe and reliable grilling.
High Top Lid
Napoleon Rogue heavy-duty high top lids pivot on a central point to keep the opening within the same space as the body of the grill. In addition, though the lids are heavy, the design provides leverage to easily lift the grill's lid. The higher height gives you space to grill larger meats, and the double layer of insulation works to keep the heat in and helps it circulate for greater heat control.
Stainless Steel Iconic Wave Cooking Grids
Never underestimate the power of heavy-duty stainless steel cooking grids! As you can see, the Wave design is like no other and it's not just because they look cool. The wave encourages even heating and provides more surface area, prevents food from falling through, and keeps the grill cleaner. The shape increases the grates' longevity by allowing for even expansion and contraction, reducing the effect that heat and cold have on the metal.
Backlit Ergonomic Control Knobs
Like the feel of a steering wheel, or the knobs of a high-end stereo, the smooth grip and robust shape of the Rogue knobs give you excellent control. Illuminated to prevent the where do I have everything set? guessing game after the sun goes down.
A Grill Cart that is Much More than Just a Cart
The Phantom Rogue SE 425 RSIB's cart is functional and offers features not generally found at this price point. The enclosed design protects the contents from the elements and provides long-lasting durability. Each cart includes a built-in propane tank ring to secure the tank and improve safety, especially when moving the grill. There are tool hooks on each side shelf to help you keep your grilling tools within reach without cluttering up the stainless steel folding shelf, and a condiment basket to store your favorite spices and sauces. The cart rests on locking casters for extra stability.

Customer Reviews
I've only had the grill less than a week so I've only used it a couple of times but here are my initial thoughts. First, unboxing and assembly took me a couple of hours. I found the assembly instructions lacking as it was pictures only and lacking detail. Some of the features on my grill were not addressed in the instructions so it was trial and error. The grill is made from quality materials and fit and finish are excellent. My first cooks were using the infared burner and I'm convinced that infared is the only way to sear steaks and chops. So far I'm very pleased with the grills performance and I'm quite happy with my choice. As a side note, Napoleon Customer Service lines are very busy but they do call you back with great help.
I would give this 5 stars if you could change out the grid for the new stainless cast iron grid you find with the p500 model
I received my grill about a month ago, and it really is as advertised in its build quality, great looks and grilling ability. The infrared heat zones are a really smart technology and work easily to sear or char. The flat black look is classy, and unique. Two things that are I refer to as quirks are as follows. The first is easy enough to get around, but still mildly irritating, and that is the handle gets so hot you will need a towel or glove to open the grill (strange). now the second issue, I'm trying to find a workaround for (why I'm writing the review), the cooking grids do not fit properly tight enough. Now for grilling it's not too much of an issue, but during cleaning the rattle around and make a lot of noise, but also make cleaning much harder. I hope someone can give me a solution.
Haven't had a chance to use the grill much yet, but I've used the infrared side and rear burners. The side burner sears meet perfectly. The rear burner is excellent for rotisserie items. The grill heats up very quickly. I did have to contact costumer service and the experience was excellent. I dropped the rotisserie rod and broke the handle. Napoleon sent me a new handle free of charge. It was my fault! I broke it! Yet they sent me a new one for free! I call that excellent costumer service!
It's a great product and gets to searing temps! I get a ton of compliments when anyone sees the grill. The built in thermometer is accurate. Heats very quickly and the stainless steel grates make it very easy to keep clean versus cleaning cast iron grates. The only downsides are: -Oil gets onto the black matte finish so lots of cleaning to do to keep it looking nice -The sizzle zone sometimes leaks oil onto the ground from where the gas tub connects to the ceramic burner (depending on how close your meat is to the edges of the grate the oil drops through) -The knobs do not change color but are lighted nicely -There isn't a bottle opener like other models -Lastly only the non-sizzle zone end table actually folds down. It would have been perfect for my small patio if both sides folded.

It's way way better than the last three Webers I owned. Better materials, better features, better everything and most importantly better grilling.
Assembly is very well-thought and straightforward. The grills seem to be constructed very solidly. The IR side burner has done great with searing meat, as well as with higher heat Chinese style cooking. The grill seems very versatile and like a fun grill to use!

Sadly I would not recommend this grill. There are a lot reasons why this grill is subpart to other models. My personally story buying this model was that I was going to buy this model. I had ordere the Napoleon LEX 485 LEX485RSIBNSS-A after weeks of researching about grills. The 485 had everything I wanted including a rotisserie placed exactly where rotisseries burners should be. I placed my order for that grill but days after the order I received an email saying the inventory in the website was wrong and that they were sold out. So was pressured in a way to buy this model because it was late for my plans and I needed the grill. Just do not buy this model. The rotisserie burner is a small strip located very low. In addition, you will be paying more and it doesn't even have the ice bucket like the 485. Mind you this one will cost you a lot more. Moral of the story, BBAGUYS if you do not have an item in inventory, do not have it for sale in your website. Now I am stuck with this grill that I hate. I really hate it!
The grill performs very well, hands down the best gas grill I have owned in 30 years. And the matte black looks amazing...until you use the grill for actual cooking. Oil and grease are very obvious on the matte finish (which in hindsight should not have been a surprise, but it was). So if you clean the outside of your grill after every use or the speckled look just doesn't bother you then this is a five+ star grill. Otherwise the standard black might be a better choice.

Build quality is great. My first Grill arrived damaged but BBQGUYS took care of it and replaced it and picked up the damaged one. GREAT customer service. Love my grill, keeps it's heat and gets super hot. WOULD buy again and again.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
