Masterbuilt Gravity Series 1050 Griddle Insert - MB20181622

I love this grill for the consistent heat control as well as the remote control. I have used it to smoke ribs, brisket as well as to cook steak and chicken. the only thing that I did not realize is you have to clean and maintain this grill or heat manifold thing rusts. I have had to replace it after a little more than a year. I just did not pay attention to it until it was too late. If you take care of your grill, it works great.

Have owned this grill for 6 years. Takles anything from seafood to pizza. Only two issues that didn't allow me to give it 5-stars. One. The hopper and specifically the burn area has rusted/disintegrated but still usable and Two, the apps are very finicky and rarely work.

After three uses with temp set at 225 and 250, the inner wall of the firebox is very warped. The entire lower wall is bulging. Emailed Masterbuilt and got no response. Uses massive amounts of charcoal.

I absolutely love my masterbuilt. It has changed the way I grill and smoke. I am now smoking dinner at least once a week and grill atleast 4 days a week. I have even baked dessert in it. Smoked cherry cobbler, yes please! I now get asked by my friends to cook for large parties and have done events up to a hundred people with briskets , ribs and even smoke veggies. I have recommended this 1050 to 3 of my friends who all use them regularly. It has changed the way our friend group does parties. With the consistent temperature , which is unmatched in the industry , it allows for even cooking. The temperature range to 700 degrees has helped when doing a reverse sear on the thickest of tomahawk steaks. The accessories like the pizza oven and rotisserie just add to the versatility. Almost all my cooking is done outside and this is truly the center piece to the experience.

I use it for cooking breakfast. Eggs and who doesn't like bacon.

I don't usually write reviews, but the Masterbuilt 1050 Gravity Series deserves one. This grill has completely changed the way I cook outdoors. For anyone who loves charcoal flavor but wants modern convenience, this grill is the best of both worlds. This is hands down one of the best purchases I've made for my backyard.

I've had my Masterbuilt 1050 for several years now—honestly, I've lost count! I got it right around the time it was first introduced as a birthday gift from my wife (after dropping a few well-placed hints 😊). This smoker has held up amazingly well over the years, and I love it just as much today as the day I got it. I've cooked everything from turkeys and briskets to ribs and pizzas—just about anything you can think of—and it's never let me down. The only downside? My wife has pretty much stopped cooking because I enjoy using the 1050 so much! But I don't mind one bit—the app makes it so easy to use, and the results are always fantastic. If you're thinking about getting a smoker, I can't recommend the Masterbuilt Gravity Series enough. It gives you the ease and control of a pellet smoker with that unbeatable smoky flavor of an offset. It's truly the best of both worlds!

I bought this grill 2 months ago after trying a pellet grill for a bit. So glad to be back using charcoal. Great product. Easy to light and clean.

I bouht my 1050 6 year go great smoker & grill. rebuilting fire box put in a stainless steel box. Over all a great smoker.

This is just my opinion im not a fan of it maverick im just spoiled with my gravity feed smoker
