Solo Stove Pi Pizza Oven - PIZZA-OVEN-12

MY husband surprised me with Perfect Pi and I could not be happier. After our traditional family brunch, later that day we all wanted to try it. Well let's just say we have had pizza like every other day since. I am so happy with the ease of use, clean-up is simple, and it make the BEST pizza ever! Thank you, Solo Stove!

My wife surprised me with this for Christmas and as soon as I opened it we couldn't wait to get started making pizza. We ran out and got some ingredients, read the easy-to-understand manual, and were ready to go. It really was super easy to get started. We bought the wood burning version and while it does take a little more work to keep the fire going, the experience is fun and authentic (and the pizza tastes amazing!). I really like that we can purchase the gas burner for this and add it on later if we want. The oven heats up very fast, stays hot, and cooks evenly. Another cool feature of this is the portability...the reasonable size and weight would allow this to be taken camping or tail-gating pretty easily. Our young children loved being able to help make the dough and design their own pizzas. I can really see this being a fun family activity on weekends. We also realized that this fits out 12" cast iron pan perfectly, so we're excited to cook some other foods in here like meats and veggies. Next thing I plan to get is the Pi stand so that I can take this to the next level!

Frankly I am terribly disappointed with the Pizza Pi Oven. I bought this product a little over a year ago, since then the stand has broken twice due to the welding where the wheel attaches, the pizza stone, a corner cracked off inside the oven, and most recently the weld failed at the shield in front of the flame inside the oven. Each time Solo Sove has replaced the broken parts& most recently the entire stove under warranty. I just think the quality is lacking , I really wish I had purchased a different pizza oven in hindsight. Customer service is great & the warranty is good but I want the product to last, be of good quality, durable so that I don't need great customer service and warranty.

I am really enjoying the pizza oven. So far, I have used the gas oven. Looking forward to doing a wood burning fire for pizza. The pizza's made have been fun to make and very tasty. Looking forward to making many more in the new year.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas as a surprise. He was excited but realized it's propane tanks only. He has his outdoor set up dialed in with all piped gas so unfortunately this has to go back. Would be a great enhancement to make a gas version!

We have in the past, used the grill to cook our pizza , Solo stove is unbelievably better. Faster cooking and better tasting.

The Pi Pizza Oven works as intended, capturing the heat from the wood to create a wonderful pizza-depending on who is making it.

Makes the best pizza this side of Italy. High temperature is the key.

Couldn't be happier with the results! By the second time we used it we had the method down pat and were producing delicious pizzas that were cooked all the way through without burning the exposed crust.

Bought this for a Christmas gift. Haven't seen it yet.
