- Down & Out Ventilation for even heating
- Compatible with Sidekick components for cooking versatility
- Expanded chamber height
The Camp Chef Woodwind 24 Pro WiFi grill makes it easier to cook outdoors. Period. The combination of advanced features and smartphone monitoring and control gives you power to control the smoke and heat, and keeps you posted on the progress of your cook. Not since Fred threw a dinosaur rib on an open fire has outdoor cooking been more appealing!
Smoke Box
If you want a little more smoke and more smoke flavor than you may get with pellets alone, the reinvented Smoke Box lets you cook with wood pellets, wood chunks or chips, and even charcoal. Use the damper to simultaneously control heat and flavor.
Down & Out Ventilation
The Woodwind Pro heat diffuser optimizes your smoking by pushing smoke and heat up the sides of the grill, then circulating and eventually exiting it through the rear exhaust. You will get even heat and smoke throughout the smoking chamber. With the Fan Only mode, you can cold smoke with the Woodwind Pro 24.
WiFi Controller + Camp Chef Connect
The Woodwind Pro WiFi line includes a full-color display with an easy-to-use menu dial, four ports for temperature probes, and a weather-resistant cover. The Camp Chef Connect app lets you monitor your cook from anywhere on your smartphone. You can set timers, check data from past cooks, assign labels to your probes, and set up push notifications. The included Smart Meat Assistant even lets you select meat types. It doesn't get much easier than this!
Smoke Number
The PID controller helps you regulate smoke and temperature. You can control how much smoke you provide to your cook by adjusting the Smoke Number. The detailed controller gives you the most precise grill temperature control in the industry. Increase the Smoke Number, and your smoke output increases. As the Smoke Number decreases, the temperatures will hold steady. Now you can ask your friends, what's YOUR smoke number?
Stainless Steel Components
Protecting your grill against rust and corrosion helps it last for many years. The Woodwind Pro 24 uses 430 stainless steel on the inside, and the butterfly valve, gasket, and burn cup use 304 stainless steel.
Sidekick Compatible
Expand your outdoor cooking capabilities by adding a Sidekick Flat Top griddle or a Sidekick Searing Station to your pellet grill. A Sidekick mounts easily to your existing side shelf holes. The Sidekick components are propane-powered.
Ash Cleanout
While hardwood pellets typically burn efficiently, they usually leave some ash behind. The Woodwind Pro 24 provides an Ash Cleanout to let you quickly and easily remove ash. Simply pull the Ash Cleanout knob on the side of the grill, and your ash empties into a cup that you can remove. Just dump the ash safely, replace the cup, and you're ready for your next cook!

Took me awhile to decide which company I would go with and I'm SOOOO glad I decided to go with the Camp Cjef Woodwind Pro 24 the first order of business was an 17 lb brisket and this being my first time wasn't sure how it would come out but this grill made it sooo easy. My forst brisket was the talk if the neigborhood!!
I was skeptical that this smoker could provide the depth of flavor I was used to from my kamado charcoal cooker, but I was pleasantly surprised with the first two pork butts I cooked. The smoke box adds a new dimension and flavor options. The sidekick and searbox are super useful. Although there is some room for improvement with the fit and finish, overall I am very happy with this grill.
I love it, made my brisket go to another level, and looking forward to many more tests on it. Way better than other pellet smokers to get true smoke flavor but still have convenience of pellets.
Had a Woodwind 24 which was awesome, great smoke and smoke ring on everything until I ran with the clean-out door open and melted the catch pot into the grill. So I replaced with the Pro which on paper sounded perfect. Been using it for 8 months now, smoked everything from brisket and pork butt to steaks, prime rib and mac and cheese. Getting less smoke flavor and much less smoke ring penetration than the standard Woodwind. What I've been wondering about is the wood chunk smoke box fits into a drawer and sits over the firebox. In that position it's effectively sealed on all sides but the bottom which is right over the pellet firebox. The design seems to make no sense to move smoke into the smoker and is playing out that way in practice on everything. I leak a tremendous amount of smoke out of the bottom of the unit. In addition, when burning, a full pot of wood chunks lasts no more than an hour with all the heat from the pellets below. The unit also struggles to run lower than 190. To get a stable run at 160-180, I need to keep opening the lid to cool about 5-6 times over 30 minutes until it stabilizes at the lower temperature. Quite disappointed and longing for by trusty standard Woodwind.

This is the pellet stove you want if you like smoke. I have used "Smok-it and Smokie units to "get more smoke". The smoke box is the "what I needed"! I love this unit except for the fact it arrived damaged. It appears the plate below the grill came lose at some point and created two very large dents in the side of the unit. I didn't notice until it was time to add the side kick as most of the work to assemble is done while the unit is on its back. I kept the Styrofoam on the sides to aid in keeping it safe during assembly. When I set out to mount the sidekick...well do you stop or complete the late fathers day gift? SUCKS !

The grill has great features like ash pan clean out and pellet dump. But after owning for several years the auger motor will stop feeding pellets in the middle of a cook causing unit to go out. Auger is also very loud when runs.
After doing a lot of research between stick vs pellet smokers, I went with the Woodwind Pro 24. I decided to do a test run of some pork ribs on the smoker before doing a brisket for the 4th. I first tried to connect to the app which wouldn't allow me to "name" my smoker nor register it so I could not use the app. Not a huge deal, so I went ahead and got the seasoning burn out of the way. I was four hours into my first smoke when the LCD screen wouldn't light up, it turns out the smoker just shut off. Its still receiving power, the fuse is fine, power outlet is working the smoker just stopped working. Ruined my ribs and my 4th of July plans. Would not recommend.
Hi, it's me again. Now I've smoked a 12lb brisket, two 5 lb chuck roasts and 2 8 lb prok butts. They all cam out super awesome and I love the wifi controller and supplied probes so I can keep tabs on my phone while the meat is smoking overnight or all day. FIVE STARS on quality of product. Now for a couple bummers in engineering design. 1. The dump chute for the pellet hopper should be on the outside of the hopper, not next to the body. It's hard to fit a container up next to the grill and catch all the pellets when exchanging them out. 2. The screen on the hopper should be hinged and lift up so you can easily help the pellets out to the chute. 3, The probe for the controller is hidden behind the top grill railing and hard to clean, but you must clean or it loses accuracy. (same flaw for installing the damned thing, but I've already talked about that) 4. The grease tray and chute should be angles so the grease flows into the bucket. Also why the stupid bucket just because that's standard and "expected"? It hangs there clumsily and stupidly. But the point is grease doesn't flow to the chute unless it has a slight incline so cook on a hill apparently. 5. It's hard to clean the bottom, and grease does find it's way down there, as well as ash. 6. There should be a way to join the two sections of upper grate together, like with a latch or something. It's hard to pull out your 12 lb brisket or 8 lb pork butts with it being 2 separate grates. If they make these changes in future versions it will be a 5* the product is 5* as it is, but the engineering needs some thought.
To begin, this is my 4th camp chef pellet smoker. I've upgraded over time as they innovate and come out with new products. I chose this over the pro options and I regret it very much. First, it is a very heavy and well built grill. Make no mistake. It is a good idea to have 2-3 friends help move it and get it where you want it. Once assembled, it's easy to move on the wheels. Second, this thing barely puts out any smoke whatsoever, and the auger is very loud and engineered a bit bad, as I've had friends and others I know have the same noisy auger as it contacts the side etc while turning. But you can barely detect any smoke at all on any thing you make with this smoker. By far the least able to put smoke on meat of any other camp chef product. And being a pellet smoker, youll get less smoke anyway, but this one is a dud. The propane portion of the grill takes a while to heat up and is super mediocre as well. Long story short, it tries to be a pellet smoker and a gas grill and it isn't very good at either one of them. Especially for that price. Even at $1000 dollars, this would be a disappointment. I am going to order the pro model shortly and see if i can give this one away as i wouldn't feel right selling it to someone. Get the woodwind wifi or pro model. Not this.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
