Purchased 40 inch range hood insert approximately a month ago and just installed. Delivery took a bit longer than the first range hood we ordered from The Range Hood Store, but we found ordering and customer service friendly and informative. This being our second range hood from this company, we are impressed with the packaging and relative ease of installation. Great venting with moderate sound levels. Also enjoy the lighting. Quality stainless finish. Would recommend this product

The only thing not friendly, was the duct that was sent out with the unit. Needs to be hard piped. The flapper need clearance to work. Also only ONE strap ? There are TWO ends.

I bought the hood for a kitchen remodel. What caught my attention was the look, but more importantly was the power to move the hot air from the stove top. Dimensions were exact but be car of the hood itself as to avoid needing to make any modifications to allow a proper fit. Thankfully my hood was wood so modifications were easy but if yours is metal it may be more difficult. The only complaint were the directions that came with the unit as they definitely did not match up to the unit itself. Also, the venting supplies is made of cheap flexible plastic. To set up properly requires rigid metal ventilation. I had to get creative to get the metal to fit properly with the plastic fitting. Take your time though and install it correctly and you will be pleased. I certainly am this far.

This was the second range hood we purchased. The first didn't fit. We needed to find a replacement quickly and The Range Hood Store had exactly what we needed, priced great and best part shipped immediately. Customer service great also. The hood looks fantastic.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
