I bought this stove to use with the single 14" grill box and single 14" flat top griddle. Due to uneven cooking I quickly noticed that the burners do not properly center under ether accessories. Major fail Camp Chef.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this cook system. With the full griddle on top it completely changed our camp food game. It was reliable, easy to light and operate and a perfect companion to my Everest stove which I used to boil/warm so I didn't have to take the griddle off. I didn't realize I would like it so much and am super happy I made the investment.

I bought this for a trip to the Frio River to cook for a party of 16. The grill performed better than expected. Easy to assemble and clean up. I also purchased the carrying bag, glad I did as this made carrying and storing a breeze.

Researched these products a lot before purchasing.The Explorer Two Burner Stove is THE way to cook outdoors. I bought the grill box and reversible griddle as well. Very pleased with this product!!

I've been using this for a few years now and I regret that I didn't return it immediately. For the most part, it does a good job at cooking, but my only issue has been the cheap black paint. Apparently the paint is meant to burn off after first use, but even after multiple uses the black paint continues to melt off. My pots and pans are now stained black and anything else that touches it (like your hands or clothing) will be stained black. I even bought the 2-sided griddle, but I can only use the one side, since the other side is covered in black paint. I'm surprised hardly anyone else has mentioned this flaw. At this point, I will either try to sell it or use a power tool to remove the paint, since I'd rather deal with rust.

Thought it would be a nice addition to our outdoor camping plans. Easy setup, temperature is difficult to adjust....admitting still figuring it out. Knobs are cheap plastic and broke after two uses. Thought propane burned smokeless and spotless. However, smoke and soot is created as the flames burn off the paint from the stove tubing. This soot then sits on the accessory reversible griddle and causes anything being cooked to turn black.

I purchased this stove online from Cabelas. I gave it a four star rating because i haven't had the opportunity to use it just yet. I have seen other people that have them and they say they work great. Upon opening the box I can see it's put together well and has removable legs. The windgaurd collapses down too. The windgaurd is thin and has small side wings that may prove to be a weak point but we will have to see if that is true. I purchased the reversible griddle to go with this unit and we will test it out on our camping trip to Wallowa mountains state park in Oregon. One thing I did find that I feel will prove most useful is a hard carrying case for this stove. I bought a Plano brand Sportsman's trunk some time ago for my truck. I thought that maybe it would hold the stove and what do you know it does. This is a Plano model 181976. See the pics. I think it will help protect my stove. Thank you Plano and thank you Camp chef. Two products that work well together!

I purchased one of these cook stoves many years ago. Since that time, hoping from my recommendations, many of my camping buddies now own a Camp Chef Explorer. Have had "0" (zero) problems and wouldn't go camping without it. I'd give it 10 stars, but looks like your website will only allow to give the highest mark as a "5 star".
