This was the recommended cover, by the Blackstone website, for the 28" griddle I purchased, from the Blackstone website. Turns out this doesn't fit the griddle I bought, which has 2 side shelves. This only fits a griddle with one shelf. That seems easy to see in the pictures now that I have the griddle put together, but prior to receiving the griddle and as a recommendation from Blackstone, you'd think they'd know not to recommend something that won't fit their product. Be sure this will actually fit your griddle and don't trust their recommendations.

If you bought a Royal Gourmet Food Prep Worktable, don't waste your money on cheaply made covers that claim to be made specifically for that. This Blackstone 28" griddle cover fits it perfectly with the propane tank in place. It's also a much better quality than the others for the same price.

I love the thickness and fit of this cover. I am giving it 3 stars because after having it for less than a week one of the straps ripped off of the cover at the seam. Can easily be seen back on but that's not the quality I would expect from Blackstone.

I own the original Tailgater and this is the recommended cover. It does the job, but is not a nice fit because rainwater pools above the griddle area, making it necessary to put something inside to 'tent' it up. Material is good, however, and straps are a bonus. The only alternative to this would be a custom cover at over 2x the price.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
