Customer Reviews
It won't smoke below 320 degrees. What good is a smoker that doesn't smoke? And it seems impossible to get to talk to anyone in this company. I have had Masterbuilt in the past and am totally dissatisfied with this unit and the company. Masterbuilt, please change my view. I would change it out for an electric in a heartbeat.

I'm not sure how well this smoker works as I have not even used mine. Be advised that this smoker is much, much smaller than advertised. There is no way that you can fit 12 chickens in this thing as Masterbuilt claims. I do not think you could even fit 12 Cornish hens in it. In the attached pictures are 2 small (12 ounce) bags of coffee. They are much smaller than a chicken, and the 2 bags take up nearly the entire rack. There are only 4 racks, so you do the math!

I've had my smoker for about a month now and love it
Product as described. Shipping took forever. Propane hose kinked and restricts full gas flow unless stretched out.
I do appreciate the extra wrecks. First one I got in with half of those thanks
Bought this 4 months ago. A bit more assembling than I expected, and smaller screws than I thought was necessary to hold the top and bottom secure. CAD-CAM could be a bit tighter as well, so that the screw holes lined up with less effort on my part. Took a little over an hour to assemble, but I wasn't hurrying, either. The smoker is a lot smaller than I expected though. The 30" part is a misdirection (its height, not width or depth), as is the guesses at how much food it will hold to smoke. It held temps surprisingly well for smoking, although both the water pan and the wood chip tray are pretty small and need checked regularly. Its sensitive to wind, so use a wind block at least in a vee to make sure it stays lit. All in all, worth the money, but Im selling my 30" and buying the 40". The 30 is just too small for how much I smoke.
Works great, very accurate and makes great meat. Just load it, set temp and chill.
Very good smoker. My first cookout was a whole chicken. Temp was perfect
The thermotemp feature keeps the box temp in desired temperature range consistently
I got this smoker a few weeks ago and got it put together the night I got it. After seasoning it I was smoking the next evening. I have had many smokers from the bullet style to offset and even barrel style and this one is the best. If you want to smoke on this thing get some wood chunks and fire it up. I have already saved so much money by not having to buy charcoal the more I use it the quicker it'll pay for itself. I almost forgot about the temp dial mine is very close to what it says but it will hold the temps pretty good with no worries of flare ups from charcoal. Its just the easiest smoker I've ever used.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
