I love it however I have one complaint, I wish the bottom vent on my K22 didn't leak as much. I jave to put a heavy duty tape to cover the existing vent so I can manage my heat better especially during shut down. I've seen other ceramic grills And their vents are much more air resistant and tight . Other then that Im a faithful fan.

Price point for this is on par, quality somewhat okay, reliability on products not so good. Paint cracked from the minute it came home, had to order a new thermostat because it went out of calibration. The thermoseal has deteriorated to nothing. Other than that it's an ok ceramic Grill.

I am thrilled with my purchase! I purchased my Pit Boss K24 Ceramic Cooker in June 2017. It has performed flawlessly on several cooks over the summer, fall, and winter months. The cooker heats up quickly and it is easy to dial it in to the temperature you want to cook at. It holds temperature when you are cooking BBQ low and slow and it holds temperature when you are searing steaks at high temperature. I am thrilled with my purchase! This is a quality cooker for substantially less money than the name brand red and green cookers everyone is familiar with. I use my Pit Boss K24 primarily as a smoker. This cooker is large! I can cook multiple pork butts, racks of ribs, or chickens at one time. I am thrilled with my purchase! When considering this cooker it is important to remember that the outside dimension of the grill grate and cooker is 24" wide. This is not an inside clear grate dimension. Accessories that you can add can be difficult to find but the Pit Boss diffuser is a must for any long slow BBQ cooks. Place a drip pan on it or cover it with aluminum foil and clean up is much easier! You will not regret this purchase!

The unit does a reasonably good job smoking (low temp) and grilling (high temp). Air leakage makes temp control a little tricky: the cover over the air vent in the bottom of the grill does not seat snugly; the gasket ring between to top and bottom portions seem to leak. Manufacturing quality was again good, but not great. Several steel parts were spray painted, but the underside were rusty. The felt strips where the ceramic body seats in the steel legs are very thin, and easily unseated, torn when originally setting the body into the leg/stand. I would recommend the product as a good value, but not top of the line.

Looked at the Green Egg and others. The Pit Boss Kamado goes together easily. Make sure you have a friend to help...very heavy. Did mine alone, slide the line off the back of my pick up and attacked. Easy but tricky. Smokes and cooks great. Did a Tri Tip recipe I got from Ballistc BBQ...AWESOME. Santa Maria Style, ( highly recommend it). Best Tri Tip ever!! Tomorrow I will be doing 2 large Tri Tips. Cleared the 6 inches of snow out and ready to go. In the winter make sure you start you fire small and let the Kamado just slowly heat up. Awesome cooker! I use it and my Louisiana smoker together. Cannot get enough BBQ! Thanks guys for the get equipment!

I received the grill for Father's Day and we have really enjoyed the great results! I had to replace the thermostat (covered by warranty) and the locks on the casters are starting to rust.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
