I bought this unit about three years ago. I just love it. Will never go back to propane BBQ, can't compare the taste of the food. Much much better on this unit. Ham is jus awesome, chicken is superb and hamburger to die for. I just love this unit.

The have repeatedly tried to get a response concerning my Pit Boss K24 and the fact that it cracked the very first time I used it. As soon as the inside temp got to about 350° F I heard "pop" sound. The next day I was on the back side of the grill and noticed a crack from the base, all the way up the body of the grill. I have sent it two emails and made a couple calls to customer service, however, I have not received any follow up response or call to address this issue.

I've got a red one for the past 3 years, and I love. I though all my other bbq's in garbage. This is a must have bbq. if you love your burger and meat.

I bought my K24 4 years ago, I use it here in Montreal year round in -20F to +++40F, and I never will return to gaz BBQ. This is the best product and for the price to quality it beats the competition hands down. I keep it clean and it looks almost brand new, except for the inside that is of course pitch charcoal black! I cook anything on my K24, from smoking ribs to cooking delicate fish, it's simply the best investment I've made!

I bought my K24 when they were still listing a lifetime warranty on the ceramics. Now 4 years later and It's developed a crack all the way through and extending from mid bottom to halfway up the back. I've had other small issues, like a cracked deflector and the known underbite from the poor hinge design on the earlier models, but I learned to live with those. When I finally decide to make a claim due to the large crack, and I'm told it only had a 3 year warranty. Good luck to those who purchase a new one with an advertised 5 year warranty, they may decide to shorten that when you finally need it. Until this failure, I had previously loved the grill. Unfortunately I'll be switching brands for the replacement.

I purchased the 24 inch kamado and the Firebox failed crack multiple places. Also purchase a heat deflector from Pit Boss direct also failed cracked in half. Spoke to a representative a few weeks ago and they told me that the ceramic only had a five-year warranty but that documentation says lifetime limited.

Bought mine a few years ago. Awesome grill. Holding up well. One thing that leaves a bit to be desired is the quality of the top vent/chimney. In comparison to some other grills on the market this is a big Pitboss oversight. The chimney lid doesn't come completely off for high heat and it isn't exactly air tight when closed all the way. This leads to a ton of extra charcoal consumption over a few years regular use.

I've had this unit almost 2 years. It cooks fine if you don't want to branch out and use accessories. None of the major brand's accessories that I've looked into really fit this model. Also, the hinge on this unit isn't made very well. Bolts backed out and bent, so it doesn't open or close smoothly anymore. I'll probably be upgrading to one of the bigger brands soon for more accessory options, and better hardware quality. This is a good starter Kamado, but you get what you pay for.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
