I had a Weber for 22 years and loved it. My wife bought me this as part of a patio upgrade. I hate it. It takes 20 minutes to get it heated up. Any meat with juices(burgers) cause flare ups you'd expect from the cheapest grill on the market. The heat distribution is uneven. The front of the grill is probably 60% the heat of the back. The rear infrared burner is only useful if you pay for the expensive rotisserie add on. I'm an extremely experienced griller and home cook and can't for the life of me get meat to cook evenly without a burnt exterior. Tonight I prepared 3/4" thick 80/20 burgers. We had to bring them inside and microwave them to get the center cooked to medium rare. Additionally, the temperature gauge has the reaction time of a sloth. I contacted the company after I first bought the grill and asked them for a new gauge because mine wouldn't move past 150F. Meanwhile, I inserted a calibrated temperature probe in the side and it read over 550F. The factory told me I had to heat the grill for 30 minutes to get the gauge to read accurately. The problem is that its mounted in a thick thermowell that insulates it from accurately reading the air temperature. Horrible design. Invest in a different grill. This one has made my usual joy of grilling so unpleasant that I've resorted to cooking everything on my Weber charcoal grill.

Was really excited about this grill when I purchased it. First year went well. I made sure to season the grills with oil, and after each session I burn off excess drippings/grease, and typically season every few weeks as we use it all year round despite being in a northern climate. Like the fact that we could add an infrared burner to it, seemed to be good and heavy quality. But also find several issues with it compared to my now gone 8 or so year old Weber: - The glass lens covers inside the unit exploded. First one a year ago, and it took forever to get a replacement, and now literally the second one did this past winter and I've been waiting about 4 months now to get a new lens. Blaze's only response was that "They'd look into it" as they didn't understand why it would take as long as it did. They also offered a different distributor to try to get the lens from, who didn't call back despite several messages. - Unit tends to flare up like crazy, despite constant cleaning, much more so then my old Weber - Takes a while to get "hot", not sure if it is because of the fact that the opening behind the lid is quite large - The worst part is that the inside SS grills, Heat deflectors and burners are all orange with rust. Have had it professionally cleaned each year at the beginning of the season, and unlike my Weber where the grills and defectors would be pristine and look shiny new, the cleaners commented "how old is this grill" because they didn't understand why SS grills in particular would rust like these ones have. Purchased the grill for all the great comments about it's construction with high quality stainless steel. But the rust has me wondering how long it will actually last, which is not great given the island was built specifically to accommodate it with a cart.

Grill was packaged nicely. Once grates removed light enough for two average strength people to install on cart. Changed out the end burner for sear burner. Not to difficult. Grill works great. Much nicer than any grill I've ever used. Learning how to use different heat zones and cooking times for different items. I've grilled steaks,fish,chicken n veggies. All good so far.

bbq guys were extremely helpful...more so even than the local bbq store..switched to bbq guys and am happy I did...service was great..delivery was great...just got it finished and used it once...very happy

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
