I just got my Jerky racks this week and i did have to remove the original top warming rack mounting bars from my smoker, but no big deal 4 screws and the original stainless steel warming racks fit into the jerky racks support brackets so you can still use them in combination with the jerky racks. the capacity of these jerky racks is great I did 3.96 Lbs of beef into jerky and I only used the top 2 racks. I could have done another 2 Lbs of beef easily with using the biggest bottom rack as well. I get so much more in my smoker now.

I got this as a gift a week ago and love it. It holds five pounds of jerky at a time. I am on my third batch and the end result is fantastic. The reason for four stars is the trays are hard to move in and out. You can't just turn on and leave as the edges seem to cook quicker than the centers. Also the middle rack is a little slower as well. Because if this after about ninety minutes you need to start turning and moving pieces around to different locations. Hence with the trays stiff to slide complicates things. First pieces (thinner cuts) are done in 2 hours. Then you have to check about every twenty minutes so you dont over cook and dry out the meat too much. All said makes awesome jerky

I bought some of the smaller jerky racks originally. Then I ordered the Jerky Rack with larger racks. I was disappointed I had to remove the brackets for the warming racks for the jerky racks to fit. For the cost of the SG they could have just built them right into the grill in place of the warming rack rail to begin with probably no extra production cost and they would have been secured with bolts on the top. Then you would have only had to purchase the wire racks. I am not disappointed with the grill at all. It makes the best smoked meat around.

I picked this up to smoke fish and it worked perfectly, the trays slide out and hold strong. Very sturdy and well built.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
