Love this. It adds additional functionality to the grill.

I travel for a lot with my job. Whether traveling in my camper or car. If I stay at a hotel I cook in the parking lot kind of like tailgating. I use this BBQ Grill Box almost daily on my 2 burner stove. I have cooked salmon on wood planks, grilled burgers, steak, pork chops, chicken, stuffed mushrooms, stuffed peppers. It works great. Perfect size for 2 people. Can cook enough burgers, steaks, or chicken for 4 people though.

This heats quickly and gets plenty hot for whatever you want to cook and however you want to cook it. It is a bit difficult to clean and tends to flame up pretty quickly so you need to be attentive when cooking on it.

Good: Box gets really hot, sears the steaks, pork and chicken. Bad: any fat / juices, they flare up, there should be someplace for the grease to go, it does not automagically vaporize.

Works well, but when searing meat, you will get flare-ups. Also the paint on the lower left nameplate will start peeling pretty much immediately once you crank up the heat. Overall it's still a great accessory to have.

I really like a lot of my purchases from Camp Chef, but this wasn't one of them. The grease management is terrible. Everything I've attempted to cook on it so far has puddled grease in the bottom and then the flame hits it through the vents and it flares up. Unhappy with the purchase.

I love the additional capabilities of this accessory. It's modular design is amazing, the fit and finish is exactly what I expect from Camp Chef. Ease of use, cleaning, storage, all simple and precise. If you are considering this with the kitted purchase or as an addition to the kit, you will not be disappointed. My kids are learning to cook and this produce has helped simplify many of the fun recipes they like to try.

I had been on the fence with the older Deluxe version of this attachment. I finally jumped on when they added the stainless steel lid. It is a unique design and I know they like their version with the heat diffuser plates. I'm not the biggest fan of the design but felt comfortable spending the money on this since it doesn't look like they're planning to make any design changes. I added some custom cut grates (from a really popular company who makes grill grates). I'm not sure if I should have ordered the griddle version of their grates to prevent the drippings from going down into the heat diffuser and ultimately on the burner. The pizza oven is the real deal though!!

I hinted at this in my review of my Woodwind 36 with Sidekick, but this thing is great for a couple of burgers or brats for just me and my wife. But, it has a nice, large capacity if you want to quickly grill/sear. If you get the Sidekick, you probably need this grill box.

Bought this when I bought the pellet grill and sidekick. When unboxing the unit, the lid was loose. I saw that the right sided hinge pin was not all the way in. There wasn't the little clip to hold the pin in place. No biggie, I have clips. When I tried to put it in, I found there was no hole in the pin to place the clip, and the pin was a little too short. I was able to drill a hole and place the pin, but this thing shouldn't have left the factory like this! Now that it is fixed, it works great. I've used it for searing meats, and cooking a quick burger or hotdog when I don't want to take the time to fire up the grill. I'm used to seasoning cast iron, so I'm not expecting rust to be an issue as I've seen others report. Over all, a good product, but I shouldn't have to fix it before using it.
