Camp Chef Sidekick Flat Top 14-Inch Propane Side Griddle - PG14

Just got it after waiting a year. Followed all instructions and during initial burn…. this happened. Makes me nervous that the new ones are super cheap.

Changed out heating rod after using it twice and it stopped working. Still will not heat up…. I've never spent so much money and been so disappointed.

Really outstanding - terrific results with minimal baby-sitting during the process. Ability to check status from, and get alerts to, my phone is terrific - no matter what else I'm engaged in, I can keep up with what's happening. I sure hope this thing is long-lived because I am loving it!

I bought campchef woodwind 36 a week back after seeing great reviews. The product I received keeps shutting down often. It's fine if it's as easy as just starting it back up but it does the whole start thing where it emits bad smoke which ruins the food.

I had heard a lot of really good things about the Camp Chef pellet grill with the side kick. I ordered it for a Father's Day gift for my husband. We were so excited when we received it the day before Father's Day that my husband put it together right away. It took about 4 hours. He was saying how well it was made. He went to start the pellet grill and it would not turn on at all. Apparently the WiFi controller was defective. So that Monday I had to order a new part. The part came in the following weekend so he replaced it and the grill started but would not light. So the Hot Rod was also defective. So Monday again I had to order another new part. It finally came in and the pellet stove lite. We got a Lemon for sure. All in all it works great just sorry we had to go thru that for over a month. I would still recommend the grill.

Was so excited to get my Woodwind 36" in May. Use pretty much everyday. Had a 4th of July party and never heated up. Stayed around 89°. Read several sites that it could be old pellets. Went get a brand new bag. Same ole song…89°. If it's really the hot rod not heating properly within 2 months of receiving my Camp Chef Woodwind 36", I definitely do not recommend this brand. So sorry. I'll be contacting those guys tomorrow morning. July 6th. Thanks

I got the Sidekick, and have cooked many different things on it. The burner boils water real fast, the griddle great for eggs, home fries, pancakes bacon, burgers. And then you can get all the attachments. That's a bonus in itself. And I did get the grill and pizza oven. This is an attachment you will enjoy for a long time

This box just isn't hot enough. Yes, if you turn it to max and close the lid for 15 minutes it can get very hot around 900 degrees. After you open the lid and sear multiple items the heat drops significantly and will not give you much of a sear. When finishing a sous vide steak I like to sear with the top open so as not to raise the internal temp of the steak and I'm sitting there all day trying to get a sear.

Super addition to an already super device! I find more and more uses for it. Easy to connect. Easy to use.

First time smokers and this was a serious investment...best Father's Day Gift. First, BBQGuys shipped this item quickly and it arrived in record time! Second, easy to use. Never smoked anything in our lives and put an expensive piece of meat on the smoker, followed all the instructions, and it was absolute perfection! This meat melted in our mouths and we are thrilled about this purchase! Can't wait til next weekend!
