Camp Chef Sidekick Flat Top 14-Inch Propane Side Griddle - PG14

I recently upgraded to this grill because I was looking for more cooking space and the option of WiFi. This thing can do it all!!! I love that I can smoke all the meat for the adults, and for the kiddos who want just a simple hot dog or hamburger I can throw that on the Sidekick. It is so convenient to be able to control the smoke level and temperature from the app on my phone. I have done ribs and pulled pork, both of which my family says is better than any they have tasted before, and I am looking forward to Thanksgiving with this grill to be able to cook most everything on it! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality built, good looking grill that will last for years to come.

Grill worked great when we first got it I was cooking on it atleast once a week. Unfortunately that only lasted for a couple months. The wifi controller never really connected to the app so most of the time I did everything manually at the grill which didn't really bother me but then the controller went out completely therefore rendering the grill useless. Contacted customer support and got told one would be sent right out, week and a half later still no email so I called again. No controller was sent out and nothing was logged in the system. Young lady said she had 6 in stock and would personally take care of it and get one to me quickly, nothing showed up. Called again got told there was a mix up they apologized and offered a free bag of pellets for the hassle and they would have those and the controller sent out immediately... 1.5 weeks later pellets show up invoice shows "pellets-1 controller-0". I'm going on 2 months now with maybe a dozen calls and still no grill. I'm not the type to leave negative reviews but this is just sad.

I have used this smoker for all types of meats, Poultry, fish and yes smoked pizza. I love it ALMOST. the temperature likes to run away up to about 50 degrees hotter than dialed in. I cleaned the probes and rotated the pellets. it seems to be working better but I am just not sure where to go. The ash can is a great plan on keeping the fire box clean and why I picked this one over the others. as far as WIFI. you have to be close to your router, this is outside and large homnes or routers in lower levels will cause disconnects. I have an extender in my Kitchen so I have no issues with the android app or the Apple App.

I initially had some issues getting the grill up to the proper High Temp, and the customer service department was determined in their pursuit of solving the problem. My issues were resolved, and I love my Woodwind 36 Wifi grill!

The smoke flavor in cooked meat is much less than expected...even at the 10 setting. The sidekick sear box is awesome! Less than impressed at the price.

I bought this grill in March of 2020 and been cooking on it just about every weekend since I got it. It's my first experience with a pellet grill and I would not even consider going back to propane or charcoal grills. You have to spend more time prepping, but the flavor of the smoke and the herbs make all the difference in the world. My favorite is dry rub short ribs with corn on the cob.

I wanted the convenience of gas grills, but more flavor. This grill fits the bill perfectly. Everything I have tried on the Woodwind has been better than when I cooked on my gas grill, and smoking on this is so easy. I should have made the switch sooner. I did go back and order the Sidekick Sear to get the sear marks on beef and pork chops, plus it is easier to grill hot dogs.

I can't say enough good things about how well thought out the assembly is of this pellet grill. I did tons of research and landed on purchasing a camp chef. I have loads of other camp chef products and knew I'd be buying a quality product! Having all the bolts and pieces labeled and separated, pieces appropriately drilled and lined up made assembly a dream. I fired up my woodwind tonight, burned it off, cooked some fabulous burgers and smoked sausage, got rave reviews from my family and shut down the grill. First time out was simple and rewarding! So glad I made this purchase, can't wait to explore all it has to offer!

Heats up quickly. I converted from propane to Natural Gas, think the propane warmed up faster, but I can still reach temps of 600 in the chamber, grates are over 800. Plenty hot enough to sear. Should have bought this when I bought my Woodwind earlier this year. I should have made the move from a gas grill to this system a long time ago, everything I cook is juicier and more flavor!
