After receiving a replacement lid i was in good shape. Initial seasoning and first cook went great. Temps were skyrocketing past the initial setting, but dropped back down after a bit. The WiFi/bluetooth worked ok but I couldn't really move far from the smoker. Otherwise, I made one of the best briskets I've done and turned out some excellent ribs too.

Wonderful product. Running high smoke, grill temps, checked by a separate thermometer, only varied about 5-7 degrees from the control panel. I had used an electric cooker for years that vari2d as much as 45. Love the control as well as the finished product that had a good smokey taste, but not black.

Pre-ordered and received in May. Well thought out in design, every bolt fits a pre-installed threaded joint. I separately ordered the collapsible table, Sidekick and Deluxe Grill accessory. Again the grill was designed for these accessories. I use it primarily for smoking and it is impressive. Heats up automatically in 15 minutes and maintains temperature within 5 degrees unless you want maximum smoke, but even then temp control is excellent. Two things that could use improvement is cast iron grates (discontinued accessory) and improvements in the WiFi and software improvement. Losing Bluetooth signal has several times resulted in having to "forget this application" on my iPhone Bluetooth and pair again. With the limited range of Bluetooth, Camp Chef should update their software to allow access to the grill through WiFi. Such an aggravation that I seldom use the Bluetooth. I would buy the grill again as it is so well designed and everything I have cooked on it has been great.

I just got around to building my brand new 36" Woodwind WiFi and already I am impressed. The grill feels solid, the parts fit well, and customer service has been VERY responsive with any questions I had or issues I came a crossed. I can't wait to ge this bad boy rolling this weekend!

I haven't used the sidekick yet, except to season the griddle. It seems like a handy and sturdy product. The automatic lighter on it doesn't seem to work, but it's no problem to light it with a long stem lighter.

I've been cooking with pellets for the past 20 years and my when my old Traeger finally conked out on me just ahead of my birthday, I started looking for a replacement grill. Well, it didn't take me long to find the one I wanted. The Woodwind 36 has everything you want in a pellet grill and more. ( I haven't used the Wi-Fi and really don't have much use for it.) Well, I got it assembled just in time to cook my birthday dinner - crab stuffed mushrooms, scallops and crab crusted halibut with garlic mashed potatoes. Firing up the grill was a snap and was easy to fit everything inside. Since then I've smoked some coho salmon filets, and roasted several pans of fresh garden tomatoes. It's all so easy. This grill has all the features I used to dream about. I haven't used the sidekick yet but it will come in handy one of these days.

Product shipped quicker than we anticipated and was delivered while we were on vacation. No damage done. Everything was packed tight and intact. Instructions were easy to follow and all of the hardware was there.

My old grill was destroyed by a tree during a storm and I decided to purchase the Woodwind 36 as a replacement. It has been exactly as advertised except I thought that it would have more smoke than it does but that could be the pellets I am using too. Loved the hat that came with it too!!

Purchased woodwind 36 about two months ago. Love the smoker - great unit for the value. I purchased the sear box and very pleased with it. Smoker easily holds desired temp (though have not had it above 350) and I really appreciate the little things like the dump valves, holder for propane tank, pellet level sight glass, etc. Would have rated this a five star but the app sucks. The newer style smokers with app, wifi and bluetooth is a big reason I invested in a new smoker thus the slightly lower rating and I would like to give it a 4.5 if the option was available.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
