Pros:
- 316L marine grade stainless steel construction withstands coastal environments
- Cast stainless steel burners are extremely durable and hold onto heat better than non-cast burners
- Triangle-shaped stainless steel cooking rods impart more heat onto your food
Cons:
- The grill runs hotter on each side and in the back, but this isn’t uncommon in gas grills
- 316L steel has a slightly different grain texture than 304, so your grill may look different from other outdoor kitchen equipment made with 304 grade steel, but it isn’t very noticeable
- Marine grade steel is more expensive than 304, so if you don’t need the extra protection or multi-user warranty, you might consider the Premium LTE+ or Professional LUX models
The Skinny:
- Blaze’s best premium grill is available in marine grade 316L stainless steel construction which resists corrosion from saltwater environments
- Stainless steel triangle-shaped cooking grates transfer heat to create an ideal surface for cooking and producing impressive sear marks
- Multi-user usage is covered under the commercial warranty
- Cook multiple foods at different temperatures with heat zone separators
- Stainless steel flame tamers cover the full width of the grilling surface to minimize flare-ups

Because the grill is made of 316L stainless steel, it’s able to resist corrosion and rust from salt air, making it a great choice for people who live near the ocean or even have saltwater pools. I found that having a full-size marine grade grill worked for me because I can cook full meals for the whole family without worrying about the grill getting damaged by the saltwater.
Quality
Premium performance meets durable construction in this coastal-friendly LTE model
-
As mentioned before, the 316L stainless steel construction drastically improves resistance to corrosion especially in environments that are more exposed to salt air. But the quality doesn’t stop there. It features 9 mm thick triangular-shaped cooking grids that absorb heat through their flat bottoms and transfer it up to the pointed top to create impressive sear marks and the 14-gauge stainless steel flame tamers are perforated to prevent flare-ups.
Under the cooking grates lives cast stainless steel linear burners that hold and radiate heat more evenly than the tubular burners I’ve seen on less expensive grills. The stainless steel construction also helps prevent rust.
This grill has amazing heat retention, thanks to the double-lined grill hood that keeps heat inside the grill and protects it from discoloration so your grill both looks and cooks great. And with Blaze’s best-in-class, lifetime warranty, you can be sure it will last for years.
Performance
The reliability, versatility, and power of the Premium LTE make this grill easy to use
-
This grill is as easy to use as any grill I’ve cooked on. It comes with four commercial grade cast stainless steel burners that provide 14,000 BTUs of cooking power each, for 56,000 total BTUs on the cooking surface. There’s an optional rotisserie burner that works great with the 10,000 BTU infrared rear burner.
It started up without issue each time with the push-and-turn flame-thrower ignition and provided a steady flame throughout each cook. The flame tamers are super dependable and help prevent flare-ups. Plus, they have enough surface area for drippings to hit and instantly vaporize, turning into delicious smoke wafting over your food.
It does tend to run hot on both the far left and right sides and in the back, but that’s consistent with other gas grills.
Features
The Blaze Premium LTE Marine Grade grill is packed with innovative features that enhance convenience, versatility, and overall grilling experience
The premium features really set this grill apart from others on the market. For starters, the warming rack is completely removable instead of just folding up, so you can use it to keep things warm or cook food at lower temperatures, or take it out completely if you need the space. The drip tray covered the entire width of the grill, so it catches all the grease and debris and slides out to make it easy to empty and clean.
I was also able to get a lot of versatility out of this grill with the heat zone separators that allow for dual-zone cooking, so I can use one side for searing steaks and keep the other side at a lower temperature for cooking fish or vegetables.

It also features an LED illuminated control system that shines with red lights when your burners are lit. There’s also white interior lights that illuminate your grilling surface, so it’s easy to see what you’re grilling well after dark. You should know that you need a 100V power source to operate the lights.
Lastly, in addition to Blaze’s lifetime residential warranty, this grill comes with a commercial warranty, meaning it can be used in multi-user applications like hotels, apartment or condo complexes, multi-family homes, and other similar places.
