OK, I researched grills for literally months before deciding on this grill. I had a limited budgeted, but I was looking for the two following qualities: 1) A really well-built, free-standing, propane grill; 2) Hot! I wanted to make real Italian style pizzas and you need to get to over 750º to activate Italian flour properly (it's recommended to add a pizza box to keep the heat contained). I paid for Consumer Reports, I read reviews from "BBQ Experts" to other online services, I asked a lot of questions, and I did my research. Also, I didn't want to sacrifice quality and performance for a lot of extras that I didn't need or want (i.e. a rotisserie, side burner, gas scale, etc.). I wanted a 3-4 burner beast! I looked at over 20 brands including Weber (my old stand by), Lion, Coyote, Bull and more. While all of these brands offer their own types of value, I went with the Blaze and (so far) have not regretted my decision. The Blaze is a very well-built, midrange grill that is made in China (much like most grills today). Blaze is owned by Shopper's Choice (which they didn't tell me when I purchased it, but this is important for full disclosure). Overall, it has lived up to expectation. It is big and solid. The burners are very well built out of cast steel - not cheap, thin piping. There are no electronics to break or plug in, which is a good thing for my needs. Upon arrival it took a bit of time to assemble the cart - only because every piece of the product was protected with a removable film that took over an hour to remove - after that it went pretty quickly (30-40 minutes). This thing heats up like the beast I was hoping for. My infrared spot thermometer had it reading in the 700ºs in about 12 minutes and the flame catchers get red hot - literally. It might be a bit inconsistent heat distribution, but that doesn't surprise me too much and it's not a terrible issue. Each burner has its own ignition. Will update more over time. So far, I'm really pleased.

Had to call Blaze who confirmed installation instructions are not correct, because BBQGuys customer support couldn't help. Bottom line: Only casters use any washers... and only locking washers (not flat washers) Other problem: missing 4 screws... so can't attach grill to grill cart until they send me some. Unfortunate because I wanted to use the grill this weekend before travelling for a month out of the country :( I hope that once I can use the grill a month from now that it works OK. Very disappointing experience with BBQGuys customer support.

Thank you for the feedback on this item. We are sorry for the complications you encountered due to the changes to the design of the cart and missing screws. We sent the screws to you earlier this month and want to make sure you received them and that your grill is working. Please let us know if you need anything else by contacting us at 877-743-2269.

I purchased this with the rolling base. Aside from the high-quality materials, the assembly was made easy by the fact that all the connectors are the same. The grill itself needed no assembly and works very well. The burners are well controlled so you can easily sear a piece of meat on one burners and then move it to another and cook on low for juicy results.

I like this grill & waited a month to write a review. More heat than anyone needs, pretty good even heat, lights well except rear never lit without help of a lighter & I could care less cause it's not used often, but over all A OKay. Don't need the smoker accessory because I own a Xlarge Egg but works good for steak. Cabinet pretty easy to install but directions don't tell you to look for serial # on grill before you drop it in. Miss my roller track for gas tank but it cooks well with the heat separators, love them but I built one higher than factory & now it better than great. One thing I'd like to pass on is I like to cook many things low & slow so I put the warming rack on two identical bricks & moved it middle of grill with middle burners off or low. Bingo! Good quality, materials, looks & good construction wish it had shelves below but built my own. I grill more than any neighbors so I may have sold another. It's my year round stove winter & summer. I hate snow storms "because of need to blow driveway & path to grill.

This is my 3rd attempt to get my review posted. I've had problems with this grill since I purchased over a year ago. BBQ Guys service has been GREAT ... we've replaced all my burners because they simply burned way too hot and wouldn't hold adjustments ... they also replaced the rotisserie burner because of improper lighting ... and they even sent me You Tube video links on adjusting these particular burners. In spite of all this, I wish I'd never owned it for these reasons: 1) it simply burns hot. No need for the searing burner package I purchased, that was a waste of $$. Even on low with all of the adjustments it burns hot, too hot. 2) the burners don't seem to hold the flame adjustments. The instructions are poor and, while I really appreciate them sending me the info and video links to help, there is no way to detach the panel and make the adjustments, contrary to those instructions, without removing and replacing and testing each burner. My grill's front panel is spot welded on. 3) the flame tamers are simply too close to the grill and cause constant flare-ups! I'm going to post video on You Tube of this grill, burners on low, lid open, grilling 90% lean angus burgers. It's comical!!! Me constantly spraying flare down and water and every time I move a burger it flare nearly to my hand. 4) it's terrible to try to clean. The flame tamers are so tight and holes so small that the only thing that gets thru is some of the grease. None of the charred bits and grime can drop down to the drip pan, so it all accumulates, and the removal of grill, flame tamers, burners, to get everything clean is tedious at best. My old Weber was a breeze to clean comparatively. I own this grill, a XL Green Egg, and a Weber Charcoal, and I really wish I had my Weber Summit back!

Recently purchased this grill. I am very impressed with the quality of the construction. The only assembly is the cart. There is a lot of protective plastic to remove but it did protect the finish nicely during shipping. Some people commented that the cart holes don't line up. I didn't have any problem. I thought the directions were pretty clear. Make sure you leave the screws loose so you can line up the holes in the opposite side panels. If the screws are put in too tight during assembly you will likely have alignment issues. I ordered the seer burner, Rotisserie and cover with the grill. I used the rotisserie tonight on a whole chicken and it turned out fabulous. The grill is a bit warmer on the back and sides but way better than the Kenmore unit his grill replaced. I also ordered the thermoworks BBQ thermometer kit with the ThermoQ and ceramic high temp probe and the armored leave in meat probe. It is amazing how much better the food comes out when you actually grill to an accurate temperature. The grills dome thermometer was over 50 degrees different than the temp at food level. Bottom line this is a very well built grill with quality components that should last many years with reasonable care and cleaning. I am thrilled with my purchase. I gave 4 stars because the cart had a defective brass threaded attachment point but customer service was quick to send me a free replacement panel.

Have used it several times, steaks, hamburgers, sausages, vegetables, shrimp kabobs. No hotspots. Very little flair up with the steaks let them char for a minute then moved them to another space and turned the heat down, cooked perfect! Only bad thing to say about the grill is the assembly instructions for the cart are worthless, you must be mechanically minded to assemble the cart or pay someone to do it.

Did the research and seemed like a great value all considered: materials, cast SS burners, warranty, price. I was excited about my new grill (purchased 3/1/17) and had it put together the evening it arrived. Warning, the directions suck. Flat out suck. If you are not mechanically inclined and/or good at figuring things out on your own, do not attempt. Bottom line, I am totally disappointed with this grill. I have owned several of the high end brands over the last 20 years and I grill a lot-- very experienced. This grill looks really good. Built like a tank. Seems like it should perform well when you actually grill. It doesn't. My unit has a HUGE differential in temp front to rear with the front not getting hot enough to cook, and the rear getting so hot it is not usable for most foods. 3-4 times hotter at the rear than the front. This leaves about a 6 inch wide section across the center of the grill actually usable for grilling. That is like 4 chicken breasts or about 6 burgers. Not going to grill for a crowd with this unit. Response from Blaze directly was ridiculous (works as designed) BBQBuys customer service has been FANTASTIC trying to help me get this resolved... Highly recommend BBQGuys.com but verdict is still out on Blaze.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
