Let me start off by staying I love the Grill Top and the burners. They work great. The grill top is sturdy and is heavy. But the stand for the grill is horrible. For this grill to be as expensive as it is, Camp Chef cheated us. They could have used a better material and/or metal for this grill. I am not happy but I have no way of correcting this other than having another company to reconstruct it. SAD>>>>

Sold my B-stone and bought this one. I literally own almost everything Camp Chef makes and now super happy I added this unit. It has a much better build, easier to use burner assembly, a much stronger griddle and frame, and looks 300% better than the other brand. My other unit, the griddle actually warped up on a warmup which I was very unhappy with. Guarantee the Camp Chef will never do that. Absolutely will recommend this unit.

I have only used the grill for two events but it operated flawlessly. I agree that you should keep the thermostats low once it gets up to temperature. No hot spots, easy to clean and the grease spot works great. I bought the aluminum inserts to make clean up easier. The wheels roll fine even in dirt conditions. I do suggest, however, that you thoroughly season the griddle. while it says it is preseasoned. It needs more work. Ive worked on Blackstone and there is just no comparison.

Just under a month ago that I purchased this griddle and so far I am very happy with this purchase. The only thing I wish Camp Chef made for this griddle is some sort of plate or cover to block the high heat from the sides of the griddle. The heat makes it impossible to place anything on the side shelves which renders them useless.

Did a lot of research looking for the most even (temp) cooking surface out of all the griddles. I used a friends blackstone, and it was 120 deg off from side to center.. the FTG900 is within a few degrees.. awesome unit. Worth the money!

Great to cook on and two can cook side -by- side which was fun for me and my wife. We grilled 4 lbs of bacon, a dozen pancakes, a dozen eggs in less than 30 minutes. Great when you have the whole family.

Simple to put together and a game changer to the BBQ process. Cooked 21 pound of Butt on the Green Egg, 15 hamburgers and 28 dogs on the flat top. then did 15 more burgers. a few days later did rass fed burgers - thick - and my nephew compared to Shake Shack Steaks, onions and mushrooms all on the same surface. and looks cool on deck

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
