Like many of the other reviewers, I too had the same experience. The grill cover, while expensive, looked good at the outset. It was well fitted for my Sovereign XL BBQ and kept it clean and dry. But after about a year, it was faded to grey and soon deteriorated further. Another reviewer described it as 'tearing like paper' and that is exactly what I have now. I really enjoy my grill and just purchased a bunch of replacement parts from Onward to make by Q look great again. Too bad the cover isn't the same story. :(

I was super happy with the cover at first, then faded pretty quickly but I though that was minor At the time. This year it started to tear like paper when you tried to lift it off of the grill. It now lives in the landfill as it was completely wrecked by the end of summer. Maybe it's not built for Canada where we have 4 seasons??

I spent nearly $100 CAD on this cover to match my new Regal S420 Pro. The cover looks great and the handles are a nice feature, but it leaks along the stitches at both the seams and the handle attachments. Whenever it rains, I take the cover off and find water pooled on both the lid and side tables.

Very sturdy outer material, looks great initially but will unfortunately fade to a worn out looking grey color after a few seasons. After a few years, inside layer peel offs (not because of BBQ heat, maybe due to frost forming between the BBQ cover and the metal top, making it stick in winter time?), which makes it a bit less water proof. It is still in one piece, covers the BBQ, and its handles are still solidly attached. My BBQ looks fantastic, but this cover will definitely need a replacement and, at this price, it should last longer.

I bought the Imperial XLS and was very happy with it. I wasn't so happy to find that it collects rainwater, which then washes grease into the drawers. No problem - I'll just buy the Broil King cover (at the premium Broil King price). The cover started out looking good and getting the job done. After a couple of seasons it faded to a dirty gray. I don't consider that to be a major problem. What I DO consider to be a major problem is when the cover tears like paper when you life it by the handles, especially when I religiously let the grill cool down before I cover it. This shouldn't be happening to a cover that I could have made by a local boat shop more cheaply.

14 months old, the handle came off. Not where the stitches are but right after them. Only one has broken. Only half was torn at one time, when I grabbed it, it ripped like paper.

I received my Sovereign XL 3 years ago along with the BBQ cover. The cover is durable, worth the money but my straps are broken. The material for the straps wear our quickly and Broil King should review this with their manufacturer. If I had to recommend I would suggest using at own risk.

I purchased my imperial stainless BBQ and I love it the the pasture is so good ,but the cover hook and loop pulled off after about 10 times using it,

The cover looks fantastic when you first get in on. Over the course of the summer we noticed the black had faded to a very light grey and the cover appeared old and used. It also wore through some areas that would see more friction than others during removal and covering the grill back up. If this were a $20 cover from a discount retailer I would we got what we paid for but these covers are a premium price.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
