We looked around for a quite a while before settling on the Sovereign 90. I am very happy with the temperature control. Also, the fact that is very well built and a nice-looking unit has made me very happy.
Owned this BBQ for 8 yrs. It has become a money pit. I paid a fair amt for the "Quality" of a Broil King, but it is not a quality unit. This unit replaced my old BBQ that wasn't very expensive and it lasted me about 15 yrs and still worked very well. Just wanted to upgrade to something with a rotisserie burner. The top cast aluminum cover, I have had it replaced once, under warranty, and it has gone once again. I had to replace my cast iron grills and purchased stainless steel ones because they broke. I had always kept the cast iron grills seasoned and cleaned. Stainless grills are very expensive. I had to purchase the cabinet bottom plastic base as the wheel snapped off and broke the base. I replaced the base only to have it break again, in less than a yr. in the same place. BBQ was only moved around to clean it, and it sits on concrete. Now, my stainless steel grills and the support bar for them have rotted away and need replacing. I am told that because my unit is an older model the burners are not covered for 10 yrs like the others but only 5 yrs. More money. (Probably the same burners used then and now.) With all of the parts I have replaced, my BBQ has cost me nearly half as much again as what I had paid for it initially. Enough. My BBQ still looks like it did when I purchased it, shiny stainless steel and all, kept it covered up when not in use, but the quality isn't there. I will not put any more money into this unit. Time to buy another BBQ, but it won't be Broil King. People, Please save your money and buy something else made with better parts and longer warranty. No wonder Consumers Reports finds Broil King not worthy of purchase. Read their reviews, if you can find B K listed. I should have listened to their advice.

The grill works very well, and we find the back burner tube does an excellent job for anything on the rotisserie. The other burners work well too. My complaint is about the stainless grill racks. They are really hard to clean and everything seems to stick no matter what oil is used. I would advise that buyers avoid any grill with stainless racks. Cast iron is far better.
I've had my grill for over a year now after replacing my previous Sovereign 90 which I had for over 20 years. The new version is very disappointing, the burners are not as consistent as my old "H burner"; with this model the far left burner is cooking at a medium level but as you move right the burners although set the same increase in heat to the point that the one on the far right is searing or burning the food. Extremely disappointed with the unit. This has to be a design flaw as I have read similar reviews regarding the burners. Im sorry I didnt move to the Weber E320 my sister has, excellent product, no issues with the burners.
I LOVE THE SOVEREIGN 90 WITH THE ROTISSERIE. 2 REASONS: THE LARGE GRILLING GRATE SIZE AND THE EQUALLY LARGE UPPER GRATE. I COOK FOR LARGE FAMILY EVENTS AND OFTEN USE BOTH LEVELS FOR GRILLING. YOU CAN NOT FIND ANY OTHER GRILLS WITH THE LARGE UPPER GRATE. THERE ARE SOME NEEDED IMPROVEMENTS. 1. THE DOORS DO NOT STAY CLOSED WITH THE CURRENT METHOD. I WOULD PREFER A LATCH SYSTEM. 2. THE ROTISSERIE BURNER GAS SUPPLY TUBE NEEDS TO BE ROUTED DIFFERENTLY. MINE GOT KINKED BY THE SIDE TABLE. THE TUBE IS LOCATED BETWEEN THE SIDE TABLE AND THE TUB OF THE GRILL. THE TUBE BECAME KINKED FROM LIFTING UP ON THE SIDE TABLE TO ROLL IT UP A SLIGHT INCLINE RAMP TO THE STORAGE AREA. 3.THE SIDE TABLES NEED AN OPTION TO BETTER FIX THEM FROM USING THE DROP DOWN POSITION. I DO NOT NEED THEM TO DROP DOWN AND THE SIDE TABLE OCCASIONALLY BECOMES DETACHED WHEN MOVING THE GRILL.

I came back to Broil King and I am glad I did. My first one lasted 14 years. I bought a cheap one made in China and it was awful. I have had mine now for almost a week and have used it every day trying different menus. FANTASTIC.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.

30-Day Returns

No Restocking Fee
Most companies charge a restocking fee. We just don't do business that way.
