Customer Reviews
We've owned this grill for over 5 years and it's still going strong. I love the cast aluminum grill box and stainless steel accents. It doesn't rust or corrode like other cheaper grills do. We've only had to replace the igniter. We have the natural gas model and it pumps out the heat fairly well. I took off a star as it does struggle to get hot if there's a strong breeze or wind.
Had a crown broil king, it got replaced after a bad hail storm with a sovereign a nearly direct replacement for the old one. Incredible quality over many years of great bbq'ing
4 years and mine is Trash. replaced regulator , the plastic base broke that broke the wheels so could not move it . so bought a new base and wheels. and saw the burners rusted/burnt out . got those replaced under warranty. when trying to replace burners the screws (whats left of them) are impossible to remove. so got a new base under warranty and again the screws are impossible to remove .(think due to heat /cool cooking). so i have an Expensive BBQ under warranty that is a pile of junk after 4 years. the do have warranty( parts supplied) that they honor but from the heat cool cycle and the dissimilar metals you cant put the parts on. i would have been better to get the cheaper one and replace it every 2 years would of been better off. Have used Broil King for Years and the previous ones lasted . quite Disappointed with their product now, as dose not last.
wrote a review previously, had rusting issues, still persist, However, now other components are falling apart. Now the nameplate and heat indicator fell off... Theres only two people living in my house, and we dont barbeque all that much. My next purchase will be a napolean or weber. Might cost more, but theyd last. You get what you pay for. To bad, id rather support a canadian business.
I have my Sovereign 90 for 8 years no regrets. Don't hesitate on decision to buy this one!
I'm into my 3rd grilling season with this Sovereign 90 and haven't had any problems with it. It is kept under a Broil King cover when not in use to protect it from the elements and still looks and works as new. Some of the things I like about it are the heavy aluminium casing, the stainless steel grills which clean right up with a wire wheel drill brush, and also the great temperature control I'm able to maintain with the 3 burners. The only thing I was a little surprised at is the plastic base which I thought a little cheap for a grill if this quality and price point. It looks like in another couple years I may have to replace the burner covers but that's to be expected, especially considering the wet environment the grill is kept in during winter. Overall however I'm very happy with the Sovereign 90 after replacing a smaller Napoleon and can't complain when comparing the two.

This grill is heavy and solid. I just bought it and grilled for the first time. Retains heat very well and reaches 600 degrees easily. Looking forward to rating this again after using it for the first year.
Bought this eight years ago still fires up first push - burners finally get replaced this year - yea, you want one of these!!
Consistent even heat. Easy to use. Could use a better system for collecting grease. Could make it easier to remove warming rack to use rotisserie.
This is our third Broil King Sovereign, The first one was just replaced after over twenty years of use .We now use the second one at our trailer and the newest at home .These BB Q's are easy to clean and maintain, and a joy to use. Our BK is used almost daily in the summer.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
